I really like GMTM. But with that said I'm still suspect of the move to get Lehner. I'm not sold on him. I get nervous every time the opposing team is in our zone. That 3rd goal last night should not have went in. Refs didn't do us any favors either huh?

Watching last nights game only made me miss Chad Johnson even more. Confused

i have been having my own doubts about Lehner as well.. thought maybe it was just me or that i was overreacting because we are only 3 games in.

1-1-1 with no jack or evander, ill take it.

Yeah, after he came back last year he took a month and a half or so to get pretty decent so I'm hoping he'll settle in here soon. But I just got the impression last year that we better score more than 2-3 goals a game because that's how many Lehner will let in.

But all in all, it could be worse. Get a W tomorrow and I'll be happy with the Western swing. Like you said we are missing some KEY guys so I can't wait to get them back.

Western road trip so far so good considering no Eichel or Kane.

Kyle Okposo looks really, really good in a Sabres uni

So much dead weight on the backend of our defense. Gorges, McCabe and Franson have been pretty bad

expecting to add 2 points tonight after the long weekend.

philly is coming off a 3-1 loss to montreal last night, lets hope they are tired and not hungry and eager to avenge the loss.

Welp...

Can't help but think that even with Jack and Evander that we wouldn't be better than last season. Looks like we took a huge step backwards.

Are you watching the games or looking at Box Scores

Our most offensively skilled player and only power forward out all season is gonna show up in offensive department. I projected a bubble playoff team and no reason to alter that suggestion

Of course I'm watching the games. They're hard to watch. Defense is just as bad (if not worse) than last year. Obviously having #15 and #9 would help things but one would think that with O'Reilly, Reinhart, Okposo, and to a lesser extent Moulson, we could do some damage on offense. Those first three guys had good numbers last year.

I see something different with the coaching style too. Way too conservative in my opinion (especially in OT). It's like we always play "not to lose". We never play to win.

We most definately need a top 4 defenseman and some depth. McCabe, Franson have been bad and Gorges looks done

how do you figure?

we are not even 10 games into the season lol, their was a brief point in december last year in which buffalo won a few in a row, and got a little hot and put themselves in the thick of it, before letting me down like usual.

the talent on the team makes me optimistic, and makes this team watchable every single night.
