Giving us the 33-27 loss here. I'm scared for our defense. Cam is bound to turn it around this season.

I'm not complaining about this, however ate you ate you are 0-3 in predicting wins/losses so far. Please keep on thinking we will lose games, it's working.

Game should be interesting, and could have big NFC South title implications in play, and both teams need this game.

Going to be a good barometer of what these two teams are at this point. At the moment, Atlanta's offense appears to be improving, and no doubt the win last Monday was a confidence booster (for now). At the same time, neither the Raiders' nor the Saints' defenses are great. Carolina's offense on the other hand seems to be going the opposite direction, although it's true both Denver and Minnesota have very good defenses.

Real tough to call right now, real tough. Think the questions will be answered in part by who wins the turnover and penalty battle, and whether or not Cam's confidence after last week has been damaged into this week.

I got a good feeling about the Falcons this game. Ryan's showing he's not going to simply try to hit homerun balls to Julio every time he wants a big play, he spread the ball around a lot last week, and the Panthers' corners this year don't seem as good. Freeman was a force too the last time the Panthers came here, let's see if Shanahan keeps him highly involved in the game plan again.

Why does Ryan ALWAYS slide just a tad too early.

that was actually a genius slide. he dove so defenders thought he was giving himself up, but he had to be touched.

man this offense is rollin.

He didnt slide, he dove. With sliding "youre giving yourself up" and its where it starts. Head first its where you end if im not mistaken. PLus, how much would it suck if he got hurt fighting for 2 extra yards?

That's not what I mean. I mean like he can always run a few extra yards but he gives up on it too early.

Kind of a weird playcall. You're backed into the <10 yard field and you know there gonna bunch the middle up expecting run. On top of that you throw it your shortest player.

I would agree with you in years past, but from the very limited sample we have this year that really isnt the case. That was a smart play, even if he dove early he rolled and get the extra yards.
