I assumed there were gonna be some good players out there with similar credentials but the JJ did freak me out a little.

Thought this was a good place to leave this SEC pass rusher comparison....

Jarvis Jones: 6'2 245 / 4.85 40 - 20 reps - 30.5" vert - 111" bj
Charles Harris: 6'3 253 / 4.82 40 - 21 reps - 32" vert - 109" bj

Their 10 yard splits are about the same as well. ARGH!! Crying or Very sad

That is concerning but Harris looked to be a much smoother athlete. You did give me something to think about tho. Evil or Very Mad

Harris looked very good in the drills but unathletic. There are more failures than successes with numbers like this.

Not that this has any bearing on us, but I was shocked by watching Myles Garrett at the combine. I've seen his tape and thought he was very impressive and obviously had some good numbers at the combine. But I have to say, he did not pass the eye test imo as a consensus #1 overall pick from watching the underwear olympics. He looked a little bit awkward and unathletic in the way he runs and changes direction. Maybe I'm being overly critical, but I was surprised by how un-smooth he looked.

I disagree but perhaps we're defining it differently. I saw a smooth and agile athlete.

When it comes to Harris I saw a guy who's a football player and not an athlete.

I never felt that was with Jarvis.

I kinda make Harris akin to Freeney. He didn't test well either.

Hahahahaha.

Jones' only chance is to go to Tenn. Otherwise he is flipping burgers this fall.

you mean Dwight Freeney of the 4.48 50 and 40" Vert at 266? If that is not testing well let me have some more.

But Harris did look good in the skill drills. The 3 cone was a killer. Give me Rivers in the 2nd instead.

CB Sidney Jones tore his ACL during his pro day workout today. Horrible news.

I read he ruptured his Achilles. If he falls at what point do you take him?

Comp 3rd rounder IMO

Read someone say he could go undrafted and I don't get that at all

Same. A late 3rd is what I'd spend on a red shirt prospect.

Seems like more people are starting to believe in The Ghost. Roderick Henderson, whom we've profiled earlier, is gaining some buzz and excitement on Twitter and within the NFL. He and his teammates held their pro day on Friday. At 6'1 339, Henderson vertical jumped 28" and had a 1.79 split in the 40 which he ran in under 5.3👀 Read and enjoy......... http://www.cover1.net/2017/03/cover-1-spotlight-nt-roderick-henderson-alabama-state/
