Hahahahaha.

Jones' only chance is to go to Tenn. Otherwise he is flipping burgers this fall.

Ole Mississippi DE Fadol Brown 6'4 280: Power. Agile. Explosive. Can disrupt the passer from the edge or over the Guards where his quickness stands out. Strong hands. Land Shark motor. Abused Cam Robinson a couple of times. Has nice inside rip/swim move. My NFL comparison is Chris Long.

Man I'm watching the combine. Tanoh Kpassagno is a smooth looking athlete. He is much leaner than I expected for someone his size. I wonder if he can play OLB.

Carl Lawson has looked great in all the drills.

Lawson and Harris have looked great. Lawson is a little more explosive and powerful, Harris looks like smoother athlete than Lawson. But I love both.

With all the edge rushers this year the steelers should def double dip.

In the first I would love either
Lawson
Harris
Barnett
Reddick
Mckinnley

Then double dip with either
Rivers in the 3rd
Demarcus Walker 3rd
Jo Jo Mathis in the 3rd or 4th
Price 5th
Phillips 5th

Willis out of KSU is making himself money today. He's drills are just showcasing what was on tape. He's a good player that was on a bad defense. McKinnely looking like he'll be there with our pick.

McKinnely is showing a lot of bone headedness. I understand he has some learning issues. Might not translate into a linebacker very well.

Rivers has looked good as well as Basham.

I really think Mckinnely will be long gone with his 40 time. Not saying I want this , but I really think Reddick is the pick at 1 if he is there and Rivers at 2.

-J. Brown ILB UCLA has looked really good in the on field drills. Nice agility and DB-like movement. Give me him in the middle-to-late RDs opposed to Reddick in the 1st.

-Charles Harris looks great in drills. Smooth and fast.

My post combine EDGE list (in Order)

This is incomplete as come players have not done the workouts. KEI is the Kerwin Explosiveness Index. It is an old way of looking at pass rush DE. It is VJ plus BJ plus bench. KEI over 70 is great. I use it plus 3 cone to make evaluations. The 3-cone drill shows side-to-side movement. Below 7 is great.

Myles Garrett - 41" vert at 270lb wow. That is in the Bud Dupree level.
Solomon Thomas sub 7 3-cone
Derek Barnett sub 7 3 cone
Jordan Willis KEI 73 plus sub 7 3 cone.
Carl Lawson KEI 78 but very average 7.46 3 cone.
Taco Charleston - KEI 68 but a decent 3 cone of 7.17
Charles Harris Has good film but a lot less explosive KEI 63
Derek Rivers KEI 75 and sub 7 3 cone. Has bad film and LOC. 2nd to 3rd round pick.
Trey Hendrickson a lot of explosiveness shown but incomplete for KEI. 7.03 3 cone. LOC is a problem
Dawuane Smoot INC KEI but other numbers are decent. Poor film
Deatrich Wise KEI 65 and a good 3 cone 7.07. Had a bad year but watching him on film and he will translate very well into the NFL.

I need to watch film on Pita Taimoepenu. I think he will end up on the list.

Brian Hill Utah and S. Griffin UCF have looked legit in on field drills and timed well. Kazee may not have top end speed but has great hands. Adoree has a lot of tools but he needs some polishing.

Thought this was a good place to leave this SEC pass rusher comparison....

Jarvis Jones: 6'2 245 / 4.85 40 - 20 reps - 30.5" vert - 111" bj
Charles Harris: 6'3 253 / 4.82 40 - 21 reps - 32" vert - 109" bj

Their 10 yard splits are about the same as well. ARGH!! Crying or Very sad

That is concerning but Harris looked to be a much smoother athlete. You did give me something to think about tho. Evil or Very Mad
