Aaron Donald very likely might have gifted us a win this weekend.
Is he getting suspended for something?

It's being speculated. Two personal fouls in one play, getting an ejection and then slamming your helmet on the turf and leaving it there on national television is definitely grounds for suspension

He's a really good player tho, so who knows. NFL is never consistent and favors it's talent

Who was it on the Rams like 2 years ago who freaked out at our place and got ejected? William Hayes? Kendall Langford? Did that player get suspended the following game?

It was like Langofrd or Westbrooks or something. Was that as bad as Donald tho?

I'm trying to remember. What got Langford(?) ejected was the contact with the ref, which Donald also had called against him. Not only did he disrespect the official on national television, but he had an opposing player by the neck and forcibly removed his helmet. That's either a big fine or a suspension.

Langford's contact with the official was accidental and shouldn't have been called. Probably why he wasn't suspended

Fox Sports reporting now that he wont be suspended and will face a 30,000 fine

Seems legit Laughing

Actually glad for that. Football is a highly emotional sport given the intensity. He already got ejected and a fine. If you suspend him now you're starting to set precedence. Suspensions are HUGE in the NFL for continuity and the low amount of regular season games you play. Suspensions need to be reserved for serious offenses (although marijuana is still on the list, but whatever... least that's easily preventable).

Donald IMO will be no more difficult than Suh and the Dolphins line and the 49ers seemed to be able to run all over the Rams.

Case Keenum will be more of a gift to us than Donald getting suspended.

Tread lightly when underestimating the Rams.

We havent 3 of the last 4 times we played them. I dont have faith in Bevell to call a game to help an injured Wilson. Gonna be ugly.

If their offense continues to be that bad we should have a good chance to win tho. Plus that crowd is going to be dead after their week one performance.

If they were playing any other team then i agree. They have a different energy when they play us. We stack the box against them every time we play yet they still have sucess against us. Not huge success but enough to get the W.

And their D just has our number. I dunno. I expect a loss. Especially with a gimpy QB.

A perfect situation is our O-line dominates the 1st half and we go up 28-3 at half. Sit Russ in the 2nd half. Run the ball every play after that.
