We're in the same boat. I think regardless a coordinator from one of our teams will coach their last game this week

Ehh, doubt it.

I will say, Gus seems to have a bit different way of going about things these past few weeks. Lit into them at halftime against CHI, some players said they thought he was going to have a heart attack and followed the game up saying it's time to grow up and we're better than what we showed in the first half. So maybe we could see something like that happen if the offense continues to play way below their talent level.

That isn't the same "rah, rah" Gus that we've had the past few years. Let's hope it continues.

They have no idea how good they have it here. It's hilarious. I can't imagine what they'd feel if they lived in NY or Philly.

i think they're frustrated and they know they can't trash talk the coaches or other players to the media, so they target the fans. that's truly a sign that gus lost the locker room. any coach who has a modicum of control over the team does not let that crap happen.

i don't even blame the players for getting pissed off and ejected, i'm honestly surprised it took them this long to lose it. but lashing out at the fans for hating on their collective god awful performances is just silly and desperate. they don't know what to do at this point.

Posted this in the other thread.

I wouldn't read too much into the players outwardly showing frustrations. At least not the way Twitter is losing their minds as if ARob called their mom names.

They're guys who are angry at the whole situation and trying not to tear the locker room apart. This happens all the time in the beginning stages of a locker room being torn apart. First they start taking their frustrations on outside factors; refs, players on other teams, the media, fans, etc. That's what's going on now. Malik getting ejected for arguing with the ref, Marqise getting flagged for yelling slurs at other players, Ramsey getting ejected for getting into a fight, ARob, Telvin, and others starting to get chippy with how they react to fans and the media; all that is what's going on now. The next stage started in the last game too with how the defense reacted after the run by King. They gave up for the first time in 4 years. Very soon, if the losing doesn't stop immediately, they're going to start calling out the coaches and showing little effort the second things sart going bad.

Fowler is okay, I guess. Making a lot of silly penalties and isn't having much production.

Ramsey is playing like an elite corner. Shutting down almost everyone, and is shadowing the #1 most of the time. He struggled a bit in the first half against Alshon Jeffrey, but came back in the second half. I think he might already be the best player on the team.

Jack has been used sparingly. Flashing basically every time he's on the field though.

John O is officially good in my book now.

So Gus is safe and he said he's not making any changes to the staff nor reassigning duties.

[inappropriate/removed] this piece of [inappropriate/removed] loser team.

It's whatevs. All this means is that I can pay full attention to NFL RedZone on Sundays instead of having both that and the Jaguars game up. I can handle seeing the big plays on just RedZone, but I'm not going to struggle to try to follow the game every week while living out-of-market.
