Season officially in full swing, so for those who follow prospects, we can get this rolling.

Was looking forward to seeing if dobbs looked any better this year, but not a great showing for he and TN against App St.

Nice to see McCaffrey doing McCaffrey things already though[/list]

Yay my favorite thread is back!!

Say what you will but I really like Watson and think he would thrive in Chip's scheme. Can't wait to see him play tomorrow.

Myles Garrett is also a beast. If we are picking top 5 we gotta be looking at him. He's easily a 15-20+ sack guy a season

Tim William is another amazing passrusher. Future top 10 pick if he can keep his game up

Those are my 3 current draft crushes. We got my biggest draft crush last year in Buck so maybe we can get another good one.

Not prospect related, but man, hard not to be impressed with Tom Hermann as a coach. Given what he did with osu quarterbacks 2 years ago, and what he's done thus far at Houston, very easy to be impressed. I said before we hired chip that he should have been on our radar. He's going to be a big time coach sooner or later somewhere

I said when he was an assistant at OSU that he would be a head coach soon. Now he's making Houston into a national power. I actually wish he could go back to OSU to replace Meyer some day, but by then he'll already be settled into some big time job.

I also think PJ Fleck will start getting looks for different jobs (lesser than HC) in the NFL. I think he's poised to impress at WMU. It's starting with the win over Northwestern today, but he's always been a smart guy and seems to be a great motivator.

I've run out of words to describe Myles Garrett.

Speaking of Houston; that Ed Oliver kid might be something special. How does a 290 DT move like that? He ran down Mayfield multiple times and even covered a RB on a swing pass. Oh and he is 18 freaking years old.

Not trying to overreact but Kizer is legit. I thought there were four potential franchise QBs and this guy is one of them. Makes legit NFL throws and has good anticipation.

Yeah, super impressed with him. Wasn't expecting that to be honest. My eye will be on him quite a bit during the season since QB should be so high on our priority list next year.

Really interested in seeing more from Kizer. On the other hand, Swag Kelly is trash and I want no part of him

Given the severity of his injury last year, Nick Chubb looked fantastic in week one. I said it in the gameday thread that I wouldn't at all be shocked by a running back in round 2 if Hyde continues to struggle with health this year. There is going to be a stud available in round 2.

If Chubb is available in the 2nd round, he will be hard to pass up. But I really want a QB/WR combo. If Watson/Kizer are gone, I'd settle for Myles Garrett and then a QB in the 2nd.

I'm in this boat, too (and I've been beating this dead horse for a while). Chubb will be very hard to pass, but the WR need is far greater, and because it IS a deep draft at RB, there will be a few backs that would be fringe-1st rounders most years available at the top of the 3rd.
