If I had to do a big board right now of a top 10(eliminating obvious non-needs:QB, RB) prospects, I'd go.....

1.) Myles Garrett
2.) Jamal Adams
3.) Reuben Foster
4.) Jonathan Allen
5.) Corey Davis
6.) Mike Williams
7.) Marshon Lattimore(assuming he declares)
8.) Malik Hooker
9.) Adoree Jackson
10.) Quincy Wilson

Just went back and watch an condensed version of the Clemson/Bama game and..... man I'm so disgusted by some of the routes Williams runs.

A couple of times, he just jogs off the line and turns for a hitch.
Another time it's a lazy crossing route where he is jogging.
Another time it's a WTF slant route.

Maybe he knew he wasn't an option or a decoy, but even so, you have to do better than that.

I saw that as well. Idk. I think that hit to the head scared him a lil bit. Who knows. Hopefully when he gets paid to run routes he goes 100% all the time.

I still like JuJu Laughing

Yes. I have no problems with JuJu. Smile I question his NFL speed, but everything else I'm on board with.
Again, mainly I just want to be able to play "JuJu on that beat" when he scores.

no barnett? personally at 5 i hope we take a D lineman. I know its not sexy but the whole defense gets better with D line play. That being said i love adams and foster too.

Nope don't really like Barnett at all in a 3-4.

Thoughts on Gareon Conley and Marshon Lattimore? Who is better between the 2?

I think it's Lattimore and I don't think it's really close. Lattimore to me should be a top 15 pick. Conley is more of 2nd rounder. I think Lattimore is the most technically sound CB in the draft.

I'm still not in love with Williams. Yes, he made a couple amazing clutch catches last night but he doesn't get any separation. If he can't get separation at the college level he isn't going to be able to get it in the pro's either. I don't want Mariota throwing to him with guys draped all over him constantly.

I was thinking the same thing. Yeah, he definitely made some big catches. Rishard Matthews was doing the same for us this season. I thought we wanted a guy who could consistently get open and stretch the defense? Was Williams open on any of his catches? Seemed as if they were all contested.

I would put Barnett in there somewhere, just if it was me. If we were a 4-3 team he would definitely be in there. I don't really care for Jackson. Would be nice to have him on special teams, I just don't care for him as a cover CB as much. I really like Sidney Jones now. Very good at locating and getting a hand on the ball in coverage.

I also like Jarrad Davis, but I haven't watched enough of him to say how high I would put him.

Starting to regain some of my Jabrill Peppers love.

Now, no I don't want him in the top 5. Not even top 20, especially when talking about other options like Adams, Hooker, and Baker.

But, I'm starting to feel that the debate about him will be somewhat similar to Ramsey's when they debated his position and ability. Not saying he deserves to be drafted up where Ramsey was, just that similar arguments are probably going to be made.

I think Peppers will be a better pro than college player.

Dunno. Just not hating him as much as I was...wouldn't hate having him in some trade down action.

Ramsey was good enough in run support to play safety and good enough in coverage to play corner. The difference between he and Peppers is that Peppers is not good enough in coverage to play either of those positions.

I think he's a sub package player in the box.

A safety that not enough people are showing love for is UW's Budda Baker. He might be the fastest safety in the class. He has the range and quickness and isn't afraid to hit. The one thing he doesn't have is an Ed Reed comparison to make fans drool.

He is small. Bulked up this year to get to his current size (5'10 192lbs) but he's not much smaller than Ed Reed or my two comparisons for him Earl Thomas and Bob Sanders. He just looks like a missile on the field chasing the ball.

To me he's the 3rd safety in the class behind Hooker and Adams. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he surpasses Hooker before its said and done.

I love Baker and I agree he's the 3rd safety. There really isn't anything he can't do well. I've seen some comparisons to Ronde Barber. If he wasn't on the west coast he would've gotten a lot more hype so far, imo.

I also think Baker is the 3rd safety and that's not a bad thing.

While I think Adams and Hooker are top 10 picks, I think Baker is top 15-20. But I'll admit that it's mainly because of the lack of viewing with him.
Adams and Hooker seem to have more hype behind them, making them in my mind, more valuable.

I saw one draft site have Baker as a 2nd round prospect. I don't agree. I also seen a draft site classify Desmond King as a FS.

Baker would be an awesome "consolation" prize if we trade down.
