Aside from Earl Thomas, I can't really think of a "game-breaking" safety in the NFL. When I see a top 3 pick, I need someone that has a heavy impact on the game: QB, pass rusher, elite RB, etc. A freaking safety? Come on...

I'm looking for a Von Miller over an Eric Berry every time with a top 3 pick.

I mean...yeah, but I only see 1 "Von Miller" type in this class and he's going #1 overall. Some classes don't have any Von Millers. Hooker and Adams could easily go in the top 5 and I think they would easily be worth that selection.

Anybody else hear or read rumors of Buffalo and Tennessee wanting to trade up to 1?

I love Myles Garrett (think he's a future HOF talent) but if Buffalo or Tennessee are willing to trade a fortune to get up to #1, I do it if I'm Cleveland.

This is a deep draft filled with talent and Cleveland needs a lot of help to become competitive again. More picks is a good thing this year.

I say do the trade as long as you get an RG3 like bounty.

I haven't. Have no idea why Tennessee would want to do that. They are in prime position to get exactly what they need on that defense. They can get an elite safety at five, and then grab a corner in a deep class with their second first round pick. Who would they trade up for? I mean, Orakpo and Morgan are pretty solid in creating pressure, so MG just seems like a luxury at that point when they have some big needs.

Buffalo...god only knows with them. I mean, they made the big trade up for Watkins a few years back. I know it's a different regime and all, but I never really know what's going on with the Bills.

Don't think Buffalo has the ammunition to move up that high, unless they're willing to give up an RG3-level of package.

Not everyone thought LA or Philly were close enough to move up last year, and if there is a willingness on both sides there's a way.

I think Tennessee would be crazy to move up.

I don't like the fact of giving up that much for a move unless you are going after a franchise QB, and you are a desperate team. They are set with Mariota, use you're picks you have to build around him.

Buffalo would be giving up a lot, but with a new coach, and the showing of not loving Taylor, I understand it more.

I don't think there will be alot of action of teams trading up in round 1. Most of whats coming out look like they could be at the very least solid starters and more then a few pro bowlers.
