Who lit up Josh allen then? Where's his hot take for that coming from?

I think being a taller Jay Cutler and his flash plays did it.

Also, if I'm not mistaken it was Tony Pauline that said he is a talent.

Yeah, Tony Pauline was in on the Josh Allen hype train first. I know he had Allen as a riser about a month ago. He was the first person that I can remember talking about him. FWIW though, he did say it would be a mistake for Allen to enter the draft this year.
Ty Wurth was the first person I saw hyping him up. Feels like it was well over a month ago.

Mine is about 25%/75%

Nine is probably 50%/50% with the other 50% being his false humility - I don't think he's stupid.

Like many guys in draft media, he basically an accredited fan. As far as I know, he doesn't have any college or league background (it certainly doesn't bear out in his writing).

End of the day, it's about jealousy for me. I wish I had his job Sad.

Matt Miller on Jabrill Peppers everybody, what a rollercoaster:

Is there anything Jabrill Peppers can't do?

I think Myles Garrett is the best pro prospect, but I can totally see Jabrill Peppers winning that award (and deservedly so)

Re-watching Jabrill Peppers vs. Michigan State. Definition of a playmaker. Love his fire and nose for the ball.

The narrative surrounding Jabrill Peppers vs. the actual quality of play is fascinating to me. Fans assume he's something he's not.

It's Matt Miller on Cam Robinson, amazingly consistent as always.

Man, literally name any polarizing draft prospect or someone who has taken a hit lately and Miller has given the full range of opinions on them at some point guaranteed.

To be fair he a whole seasons worth of tape has come out since he was high on Robinson.

Not to say he doesn't flip flop.

Presumably he had seen enough to call him the best 'left tackle in CFB' though?

Solomon Thomas a 4.5 guy??? I'd expect him to be a 5.0 guy. Surprised he's only 270 also. He looks bigger.

I just finished a mock where I took Thomas #1 overall so that tweet makes me happy.

Couple days ago I'd been looking again at Thomas' tape vs Allen's tape and I came to the conclusion that I like Thomas better. The biggest difference is that Thomas has better intial quickness. They're both suitably strong to play inside. Thomas can lock out and shed. Allen has stronger hands but without the same quickness as Thomas it kind of nullfies it. Thomas is just faster and more fluid.

Which is fine, but he tweets like every take is fresh out of the kitchen. He doesn't address his previous opinions, just hopes nobody notices and pretends his latest opinions or fake conversations with scouts were his views all along.

The weird thing is he recently mocked him at 20 to the Broncos and had an interview on a Denver radio show where he said the following about Robinson.

Quote:
“Big, strong left tackle,” Miller said of Robinson. “One of the few guys to really control Myles Garrett of Texas A&M the last two years. He has potential to be an All-Pro left tackle. The rub with him, and the reason he’s there at pick 20, is because sometimes he just doesn’t turn it on. So, if you can engage him and motivate him he could be one of the best tackles in football.”

This interview was just a few days before the tweet about not getting the hype.
