Looks decent but we need to get an impact receiver if we hope to take the next step.

I think we have 3 very capable WR's in place, and if TY isnt a impact WR, I dont know what is?

However, we do have a depth issue with the WR core. Hopefully a couple of these rookies will come in and earn a spot. If not I definitely see us bringing in a veteran WR to be a #4.

I like what I see in Mekale McKay (just under 6'4") but I think we are probably going to be adding a WR from the waiver wire when final cuts come down.
For the moment Hilton, Moncrief, Dorsett, Bray (KR) and 1 more (McKay?)

He has a 37.5" vertical as well and a 10'+ broad jump. I think he has a good shot of earning a spot. He is exactly what we need to compliment our top 3. I agree Quan Bray probably does as well, unless one of these other guys steps up.

I know Im ready Very Happy

Who do you think are some possible roster cuts?

I will take a look at some teams and post some when I get a few minutes.

I think we carry 4 backs, Gore, Turbin, Todman and Varga. I think the 5 above mentioned WRs. I'm hoping Griswold beats out Swoope for the third TE and there are going to be some tough cuts on the OL; as I mention in the other thread....
Locks
LT Castonzo
LG Mewhort
C Kelly
LT/RT Joe Reitz (whether as a starter or backup)

Competiton (one of these will be cut)
RG/RT - Thornton, Harrison, Clark, Haeg, Good
I think it is likely that Austin Blythe starts the season on the practice squad. I think that Harrison is lining up at RG because Thornton is not 100% and they want to see if he is versatile enough to make the team.

I think the defensive line has very good depth it's just not as top heavy as we would like it to be
Locks
Langford, Anderson, Parry and Ridgeway

Almost locked up
Jones and Kerr

The last spot will be battled out between TY McGill and Kelcy Quarles

LBers
Locks
DQ, Nate Irving, Antonio Morrison, Mathis, Cole and Walden

Nearly locked up
Moore, Bates, Thompson and Maggit

McNary and Herrerra are right on the verge of being cuts

DBs
I'm not sure who makes it after the top 4 CBs and top 3 S
I think that a healthy Tevin Mitchel should give Jalil Brown a tough competition for the #5 CB and as for safety do we carry more then 4? Is Guy that guy then?

that RB situation is pretty ugly. Hopefully Gore can do what he has done most of his career and stay healthy.

As for OL, I think there is a good chance Thronton is traded for late pick or some player swap.

Dont think Clark or Haeg will be cut, Blythe excels in zone blocking, I think he is the back up center moving forward. DOnt think Good will be released either. Has to be between Harrison and Thronton, if someone is cut.

McGill all day over Quarles, I thought McGill looked pretty good last year in limited action.

LB's are interesting, you have 3 rookies(2 UDFA) making the team. Could be, will have to see it play out.

I think Andrew Williamson has a shot at the 4th S spot.

As far as CB, hopefully a young guy can step up for the 5th spot, if not Jalil Brown is a decent option. Milton is the young guy Im pulling for.

http://cbs4indy.com/2016/06/02/oddsmaker-has-colts-favored-in-9-of-first-15-games/

Oddsmakers have the Colts favored in 9 of 15 games, week 17 games were not included due to the uncertainty of teams resting front line players.

Colts are favored in....
- all 7 home games (week 17 vs Jax not included)
- 6 of the first 8 games (@Den and @Hou)

Notable
- lose to Den, Hou, GB, NYJ, Minn and Oak, all road games
- only road wins are against Tenn and Jax (London)
- wins against KC and Pitt

Colts signed 3rd rd draft pick Le'Raven Clark and OL Mitchell Van Dyke and waived/injured G Isaih Cage, he should clear waivers and revert to IR

So do you guys think we can get back to the playoffs this year? Our division's still relatively weak but the Jaguars are improving, the Texans won the division last year. Should be a division to watch next year.

I think we have great shot of playoffs and winning the division. The other teams are getting better though so the road is getting harder.
