Funny enough Raiders need a replacement for Nelson and a buddy for Joseph going forward. But I just don't like Hooker that much at this point.

Hooker and Joseph would be a perfect combination.

You'd have to move up to get him.

I don't know if Weston Steelhammer has been mentioned, but I like him, and not just because of his name. I will watch him during East-West Shrine Week.

(And his name is reason enough to like him.)

Any Channing Stribling fans in here? While watching some Jourdan Lewis cut-ups, Strib stood out more.

Sure. Sign me up.

He seems to be under the radar in a deep class. Doesn't mean the pros are not watching.

I want to see how heavy he is during testing, since I am surprised his jersey is wide enough for #8. If he can carry 12-18 more pounds, you might have something special.

Wish he was stronger in run support. I don't think he is a safety.

Lattimore and it's not a tough decision for me. Much smoother and has better man coverage skills. Ball skills are excellent.

Sidney Jones looks a little longer and stronger, but his technique is not where it needs to be in either the man drops or zone drops. He's got a lot of potential, but Lattimore is the more refined between the two.

Nelson was very rangy coming out. Made plays on the ball in coverage. Took bad angles in the run game. I remember the one on a Tedd Ginn kick return for a TD where Nelson took one of the worst angles I've seen. He often didn't wrap up but went for the big hit instead. Was nicknamed the eraser because of this. He is closer to hooker than hooker is to earl. Everyone wants to make the earl comparison because he is great and more recent.

One of us is misremembering, and I'm almost positive it wasn't me. Because if you remember, he had a huge spike in interceptions in his final season at Florida and most thought he fell [inappropriate/removed] backwards into them. Fortunately, he still managed to accumulate those interceptions in the NFL. Like you said, he's known for his bit hits.

Reggie Nelson was the Gators Center-Fielder. He was amazing in that role. Dude had serious speed, range, and ball-skills. That's why he got the Ints.

Thank you. Both you and Bleedtheclock actually watched him.

Thank you.

I've been leaning on Lattimore myself, mostly because of his size over Jones. Will take your $.02 into consideration for my mock!

...woah. Just googled Sidney Jones size, because I thought he was bigger.

6'0 170? That's unacceptable for someone that plays off coverage most of the time.

I thought I read he was like 180, either way, that's pretty light.

Lattimore has Revis like coverage skills. Not the run player, but coverage wise hes a mirror.

He's listed at 181, I'd imagine he'll be closer to 190 by the time the combine rolls around.

Kinda built like Kevin Johnson, whom I remember a lot of Packer fans on this board liked.
