Arguing my Cowboys for the winners.

We lost both of our starting CB's this offseason. Our secondary decimated if you can believe it after watching it this past season.

And yet in both rounds 2 and 3. We did not move one spot in either round. But came away with 2 CB's that are starter quality at both outside and nickle where we need them most.

Infact these guys are so solid in their game, with enough smarts, work ethic and talent. They could be Day 1 starters by the time the season starts. We neither had to over pay, nor over reach for either of these players. Chidobe many assumed would have been gone in the first had it not been so offensive heavy with the QB's and such.

There are a few teams that did very well. But thats my argument for us.

Really like what the Ravens did. Bowser, Wormley and Williams is a really nice coup.

Bengals also did well with Mixon and Willis.

You're dependable. Can always count on you to have something unintelligent to say. Laughing

When experts and the coach identify him as potentially comparable to Jordan Reed from his playmaking abilities and traits, I doubt hand size really matters.

With that said, I really like what the Rams did by getting a guy McVay thinks could be the next Reed (he should know), the more I read about Kupp the more I realize he is vastly underrated and with a talented QB like Goff I and an offensive minded coach in McVay, I expect Kupp to fully reach his potential which could be Jordy Nelson 2.0 and expert Lance Zielein thinks Kupp could be comparable to Jarvis Landry. Nelson and Landry both went on essentially day 2 as well. Johnson has playmaking abilities on defense in coverage because he has soft hands and can play both safety and cornerback. Instantly I'm reminded of Rams former safety Atogwe at safety. So I think the Rams quietly did very good but they won't get much media praise by taking two guys from smaller schools and many don't know who Johnson is.

I also love the Chargers getting both Lamp and Feeney. I wanted the Rams to get one of them and the Chargers ended up with both. Those are the best guards in the draft with Lamp being able to play center as well as tackle if need be. Both guys are day one starters and will be very very good in the NFL.

Chargers, that was strong work to get the top two interior linemen in the draft.

Ravens were also annoyingly good at being pragmatic again (Bowser, Wormley, Williams)

Bills continued to make some good picks (Zay Jones and Dion Dawkins) that look like starters on their team

Panthers are executing a plan to get more dynamic on offense with Samuel, and Moton and Hall were good value picks too

Bengals got Mixon and Willis, which were both excellent value

Packers got good value with their three picks, two huge additions to their secondary

Colts continuing to have a strong draft (added Quincy Wilson and Tarrell Basham)

Well, in a Cover 2 defense which the Cowboys basically run, CB's need to be solid tacklers and play well in zone coverage and I know that isn't always the case, but that is the basic defense. Not sure Lewis is that type of CB, but we will just have to see.

There are a few teams that did very well. But thats my argument for us.

Not the Browns. It's odd that their day 2 picks are more boom/bust than day 1.

Raiders got Obi. I almost still can't believe it. I wanted him in the first round.

Chargers were one of my favorites. They are actually trying to help Rivers.

Packers dud okay, but I'm not an Adams fan.

I think Mariota has won the draft so far.

2 WRs, 1 TE, and a CB who is also going to see snaps on offense.
