Jake Butt is the #1 TE, followed closely behind by OJ Howard. Both are 1st round prospects in my opinion.

If Howard is such a good TE why is he not utilized more in the Bama offense? They have receiving targets, but that shouldn't stop him from getting a fair share of the distribution.

I'm gonna watch him more carefully, but that's not sitting right with the way he is always considered an afterthought in that offense.

Lane Kiffin knows how to kill TE dreams.

Biased, but Bucky Hodges has the biggest possible fluctuation. He could go as high as a 2nd rounder to me, and fall as far as around 6th.

It'll be interesting to see how this season goes.

"Underutilized"...he has 1 less TD and 52 yards less than Butt for the season. You don't ever see TEs being the focal point of any offense in college nowadays, especially in an Alabama offense that had 642 rushing attempts for the season, tops the SEC. By comparison, Michigan ran 491 times.

Make no mistake about it, Howard's the top TE in this class.

Oj Howard is the Top TE. He would have been ranked over Hunter Henry

I been saying this for well over two years but I think I might change my opinion, Butt is going to be a very good TE in the NFL but because of the upside, I think Bucky Hodges may be #1, he screams Jimmy Graham. OJ Howard is a stud as well. Butt may very well be more complete than Hodges but isn't the potential game breaker Hodges could be (Or Howard to a slightly lesser degree).

Of course he is, I really like him, even played FB at times for them which is really intriguing.

I really like how he flashed last year and love that 6-6 240 size. Good looking athlete and was effective even with Hunter Henry getting a majority of the balls thrown his way.

I like his upside a lot.
