If Corn Elder isn't in a mock draft, it's not worth reading.
If there is one person out of the 10 I mocked that we absolutely need to draft, it's Corn Elder.

Everyone's draft template should look similar to this:

1
2
3
4 Corn Elder CB
4/5
5
6
7

I hope he eventually has a son named Corn, Son of Corn. Corn Elder will then become "Pop" Corn Elder.

Jeezla Top 15 CB rankings

1 Sidney Jones
2 Marlon Humphrey/Teez Tabor/Gareon Conley/Quincy Wilson/Marshon Lattimore
7 Jourdan Lewis/Desmond King
9 Cordrea Tankersley/Tre'Davious White
11 Cameron Sutton
12 Chidobe Awuzie/Kevin King/ Adoree' Jackson
15 Corn Elder

Sidney does need to gain about 10 lbs though. 7 minimum.

When you're named Corn Elder, it's really just a matter of when you end up in the hall of fame. There is no if.

May never be open a single time in the NFL but will still probably make the catch.

I understand he's being paid like a LT but if the Best OL in the draft and a stud plays LT why can't he be drafted and Lane stay at RT? Jon Runyun was every bit as good and responsible for McNabbs protection / success as Tra Thomas. One could argue Runyun was more important going against the Strahan's of the NFL.

I've never understood why People believe the transition from Right to Left would be seem less? Lane would be every bit as dominate as LT as he clearly is as a RT (top 3 in NFL). I'm not suggesting we need to take LT in the 1st but if he is clearly BPA I'd have no problem with him being Peters replacement and Lane staying put as our Jon Runyun!!!! His contract means nothing if the LT is being paid as a Rookie.

Cam-Peters-Kelce-Brooks-Lane

So you question Lane's ability to play the position he played in college, but then you just bump Jason Peters inside to a position he's never played at 36 years old?

Noticed how he was still on the Left side as a LG? A lot easier transition then moving him completely to the other side. Not sure why him playing LG would hinder him at his size/age? Lane played 11 GM's total as a LT (in College) and the last 4 as a Dominant RT. So yes I'm perfectly fine leaving him there if it means a Equally talented LT who also might dominate at the Pro level is found.

Honestly, I'd argue that moving from LT to RT is an easier transition than LT to LG. That said Peters should stay at LT until he gets the axe, personally I think is should be next offseason as we have bigger fish to fry this offseason.

Yea I'm not even going to get into the Jason Peters to guard thing anymore at this point, it's ridiculous to even think about paying your LG and RT starting LT money when we have options at guard already that don't involve us burning a 1st rounder.

Also, Cam Robinson was beat more than a couple times by #99 Clelin Ferrell last night. I honestly think Cam is going to be a RT in the pros.

Yea, He was getting beat like a drum in pass pro. Was an absolute mauler in the run game though.

I would way rather have Ryan Ramczyk (if his hip surgery went smoothly) than Cam Robinson. Cam is overrated by a round imo. Looks like a day 2 OT to me.

You think we should spend a first on Ryan?

No. Mostly just saying we definitely shouldn't spend a first on Cam. I think we should go wr or cb in round 1, unless Derek Barnett slides.
