Bamba's half brother just ratted him out for reported violations.

That's cold.

Quote:
"Widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the high school class of 2019, Bol Bol measured a jaw-dropping 7'3 in shoes, with a 7'8 wingspan, to go along with a 220-pound frame he's added over 15 pounds to since this time last year, and 40 pounds since the summer of 2016. One of the younger players in this group, not turning 18 until November, Bol didn't make the cut for the final U19 roster, as his maturity and ability to maintain a consistently high intensity level aren't yet where they need to be to compete against players nearly two years older than him. Nevertheless, from a physical standpoint, Bol already stacks up well with some of the NBA's most notoriously long players, including Rudy Gobert who measured 7'2 in shoes with a 7'8.5 wingspan and a 238-pound frame at age 21 at the 2013 NBA Draft Combine. Like Gobert in his late teens, Bol has plenty of room to improve his frame and polish his game, but his sheer size and elite 9'7 standing reach give him game-changing potential if his mentality improves."

9'7" standing reach Laughing

Does anybody have any insider info on Eric Ayala? I've heard there's a 50/50 chance he changes his class to 2017. OSU badly needs backup guards.

And Jraan Brooks a few days ago.

Cohen fired Romar at the worst time possible. Seattle is loaded 2017-2019 and we threw that away. Smh

Yeah, ya'll killing it. I like your roster for next year, too. Super underrated team.

As a Syracuse fan. Syracuse had been trying to move him back to 2017 for the longest time but he seems to prefer to be in 2018. Id say there is about 85% chance he stays in 2018 but there is still a slight chance he might change his mind. He seems to favor 2018 to improve his skills and his coach is convincing him to stay.

Its why we finally moved onto Geno Thorpe a grad transfer so we could land Ayala next year. Also to note that Syracuse was offering the oppurtunity to start right away as a PG

Reminds me of when Ohio kids didn't want to go to OSU after Jim Tressell was fired. Kyle Kalis was the most notable example. Holtmann just needs to recruit HIS guys and not the spoiled kids Matta has recruited the last few years that have majorly flopped. I really can't express enough how badly Matta [inappropriate/removed] the bed the last few years and (I hate this term) how lazy the culture is at OSU.

He's already cleaning house and kicking out guys like Funderburk and Beverly.

I have trouble thinking that gym rat coach's son Goodwin would be bad for the culture. I figure it came down to 3 possibilities:

1He didn't like his game and was only showing token interest.
2 Goodwin didn't want to be here without Matta.
3 Holtmann thought he was gone regardless and turned his attention elsewhere.

Sad to not get him, seems like the kind of kid you want to help turn the program right.

You might be right. However, as I said, Holtmann just needs to focus on recruiting the type of kids that made Butler successful under his time coaching. If it involves some 3 star kids, then we as fans will have to deal with it for the time being.

I think there is a sense of entitlement in Ohio high school athletes right now when it comes to Ohio State.
