I still have concerns about Bouye... scared of giving that much money to a guy with one year's worth of production, and who's team seemingly didn't make much of an effort to keep.

But he is highly regarded by quite a few of the "expert" sites out there... guess we could do a lot worse.

I mean I don't think he's a top 10 CB or anything. But he's a hell of a lot better then the trash we have.

Bouye is a smoke screen, it is Ryan that they want IMO.

I have the exact same concerns as you do

That said, I feel like he's the real deal. Don't want to overpay, though, but that's the same with any player

It sounds like the Titans had a good offer on the table to Bouye and then the Bears threw their two cents in the fire...

I can see this happening if they want Hightower

Hesitant to post anything from the guy, because he hasn't hit a homerun lately.
He did say they had Logan Ryan high on the list so there is that. Did say Bouye was a man, but was outbid by other teams.
Did say they were really going to go after Hightower, but apparently that didn't go too far.

So, with that.....
He says Jamal Adams has wowed them. They love him. They also like Hassan Reddick.

Trade down is still something they want. Really wants to recoup the 2nd round.

Dancing He's been my top guy for a while now and IMO a top 3 talent in this draft.

If we stick and pick, Adams/Reddick is my ideal first round.

Yeah I think we all pretty much saw him as the model player that they would covet. He's everything they would look for in a top 5 player and he and Byard could both play either S position with Cyprien staying at the LoS.

Hooker looks lie the guy we dont already have, but I don't see them heavily investing in a player with tackling issues

.

I agree. This is one of the easier assumptions to make in the draft.

Foster/Adams/Hooker or trade down, baby!

(I've just recently added Hooker to my draft or bust list)

Same. Even with Cyprien, I think if Adams is there you can't pass on that. He's a 10 year starter, could be our own Eric Berry. I trust that LeBeau & Co. are creative enough to make Byard, Cyprien and Adams work out. In 3 years, probably let Cyp walk or take a smaller deal/role, and Byard and Adams would be a great tandem. Both can do just about anything cover/tackle/blitz.
