My top players available:
Charles Tapper
Maliek Collins
Malcolm Mitchell
Joe Thuney

We pick tomorrow morning at 10 CST. Would like to have a consensus of who to choose.

Yeah we got the early 5th from the Bucs. Due to the lack of discussion in the war room, I'm going with the pick most agreed with via PM.

With the 83rd pick in the draft, the Los Angeles Rams select...

Malcolm Mitchell, Receiver, Georgia

There are some more receivers later on I'd love to get, namely Michael Thomas who I have mentioned numerous times. But Mitchell was too good to pass up. We have a 4th, 2 5th's, and a 6th remaining.

I see how it can possibly get real awkward in war rooms when BPA is not a need and your need isnt close to BPA.

If we had more draft capital, I would have been all over Maliek Collins. He's a victim of a strong DT class. Mitchell isn't that far off though for me and the need is much greater. I think his talent level is on par with most 2nd round receivers in this class, but gets overlooked because of inexperience at the position, injury history and age.

Boehm/Thuney - Best available center (you like Thuney, I like Boehm), Pharoh Cooper regardless of being redundant is straight value period at this point, Vannett(?), Oakman (I mean, jrry's got a point... if anyone's going to make anything of him it's Waufle, though I'm a fan of Jonathan Woodard as well (may be a bit high for him). Landon Turner (value... likely makes Saffold expendable - not that we're hurting for cap-space). Antonio Morrison?

Oakman is interesting. Although age and this assault charge is not doing him any favors. DL I was gunning for in the later rounds was Tyrone Holmes from Montana. Just not a fan of Cooper's game. Think Daniel Braverman just as good if not better from the slot. If you asked me a few seasons ago, I could have gotten behind Landon Turner or Sebastian Tretola, but it seems like the line has play more zone than ever before last season. I see both strictly as power/man linemen. I could be convinced to pick anyone though with enough support.

I think at this pick, Daniel Lasco, Joe Haeg, Joe Thuney, Michael Thomas, and Travis Feeney offer the most value. Also a bunch of corners but we have too many to consider one. With all those names to consider, if we could land two 5ths for this pick I would be in favor of doing that. In discussions with a few teams that are considering.

Trade offer I've been discussing is 2 5th's for this 4th and Zack Hodges.

My thinking is there's multiple centers available with the same grade. If we trade down, that gives us 4 5th's. With that we can take a center, receiver, TE, and maybe a RB? Then go DL with the 6th rounder to wrap up the draft.

Yeah I agree with that train of thought. Also wanna snag some late round steals like Kevin Byard and/or Jatavis Brown along with GT corner DJ White

We were targeting Pharoh Cooper and he is gone, so we are no longer interested in trading up.

Looks like we're going to be making a selection. No other offers stand out.

Thoughts on Thuney or Thomas? I know jrry likes him. Those are the two I like most.
