It's a weird thing overall. Non Texans, Longhorn fans hate the Texans because Vince Young left for school early thinking he'd get drafted #1. Probably leaves anyway.

It reminds me of when we drafted Mario Williams and the hate that we got from that.

How "could we pass up on Reggie Bush, the greatest offensive weapon in the last 10 years?" ...."The Texans were completely inept for passing on Reggie/Vince Young"....blah, blah.....and blah. There was so much hate for our organization for basically flipping the bird at all the experts, both professional, and amateur.

In hindsight, the media, and a large portion of every NFL fanbase was totally wrong! You can make all the predictions you want, and make/say the stupidest comments.....but reality is, there is no way to judge this deal for another 5 years.

What I don't understand is why other fans are so [inappropriate/removed].

If he sucks that only affects us!

It's hilarious how riled up these guys are getting in NFL news.

Sadly its my bedtime, I just hope somebody else can carry the batton.

Hi thar.

I'm not jumping for joy or anything over signing him, but honestly, he was the best option available to us, and I'm fine with paying the premium for that. Here's hoping he shuts up all the haters.

Brock's a very talented young man," Kubiak said Tuesday during the AFC coaches breakfast at the NFL spring meetings. "He's a big kid that sees the field extremely well. He can make all the throws. He moved around well. When he played, that was something he did very well.

Good to hear. Kubiak has no real need to praise Brock.

quite the opposite actually. Imagine if Kubiak loses Brock in Denver, and he goes to Houston and does what Kubiak couldnt get done in Houston

Kubiak couldn't care less, he has already won a super bowl. Proving he wasn't the issue, Houston was/is.

The first part I agree with, the second I don't.

He took over a 14-2 side and rode an historically good defense (led by Wade Phillips) to the SB.

I agree that Rick Smith is still an issue.
