I'm preparing my FA offers. I also will post my cuts in the next couple days. After cuts, I should have around $70 million in cap room.

The Gunslingers cut:
DE Mario Williams
LT Ryan Clady
C Jon Sullivan
QB Chase Daniel
SS William Moore
FS Rahim Moore

Approximate Cap Space: $72,545,781
Rollover Cap: $5,969,559
Total Cap Space: $78,515,340

I also plan to transition to a 3-4 this off-season. It makes more sense with my personnel.

For my initial offers, I'm going to toss out:
Kevin Zeitler OG - 5 years $57.5 million ($11.5 million APY)
Torrey Smith WR - 4 years $30 million ($7.5 million APY)
Markus Wheaton WR - 2 years $10 million ($5 million APY) (offer is rescinded if I get Torrey Smith)
Brandon Williams NT - 5 years $50 million ($10 million APY)
Bennie Logan NT - 5 years $40 million ($8 million APY) (offer is rescinded if I get Brandon Williams)
Benny Cunningham HB - 3 years $9 million ($3 million APY)
Jabaal Sheard OLB - 4 years $32 million ($8 million APY)
EDIT: Dont'a Hightower OLB - 4 years $36 million ($9 million APY)
J.C. Tretter OL - 5 years $32.5 million ($6.5 million APY) (offer is rescinded if I get Zeitler)
Logan Ryan CB - 5 years $45 million ($9 million APY)
J.J. Wilcox FS/SS - 5 years $32.5 million ($6.5 million APY)
Ryan Griffin TE - 4 years $16 million ($4 million APY)
EDIT: Connor Barwin OLB - 3 years $19.5 million ($6.5 million APY)
EDIT: Greg Zuerlein K - 4 years $14 million ($3.5 million APY)
EDIT: Justin Drescher LS - 2 years $3 million ($1.5 million APY)
EDIT: Cordarrelle Patterson WR/KR - 2 years $5 million ($2.5 million APY)
EDIT: T.J. Lang OG - 3 years $27 million ($9 million APY)
EDIT: Kemal Ishmael SS - 3 years $9 million ($3 million APY)
EDIT: Brandon Carr CB - 3 years $21 million ($7 million APY)
EDIT: Tim Lelito OG/C - 3 years $9 million ($3 million APY)

The rules are that I get awarded the FA if I offer at least $0.5 million more per year, and my offer isn't more than $10 million less in total value (to account for another team offering a longer deal). If I offer $10+ million more over the life of the deal, I'll have to make a determination based on the structure of the IRL contract.

I might tweak these as the FA rumors come out.

My current depth chart (excluding the practice squad guys signed to futures deals):
QB: Jared Goff/Brad Kaaya
HB: DeMarco Murray/Alvin Kamara/Benny Cunningham
FB: Rhett Ellison
XWR: Torrey Smith/Mike Thomas
ZWR: Rishard Matthews/Ishmael Zamora/DeAndre Smelter
SLWR: Tyler Boyd/Roger Lewis
TE: Ryan Griffin/George Kittle/Bucky Hodges/Dan Vitale
LT: J.C. Tretter/Le'Raven Clark/Antonio Garcia/Chase Farris
LG: Josh Sitton/Tim Lelito/Zane Beadles/Tony Bergstrom
C: Cody Whitehair/Tim Lelito/Tony Bergstrom/Jack Allen
RG: Forrest Lamp/Tim Lelito/Zane Beadles/Tony Bergstrom
RT: Le'Raven Clark/Antonio Garcia/Tony Bergstrom/Chase Farris

LDE: Nick Fairley/Tyrunn Walker/Matt Ioaniddis
NT: Bennie Logan/Stevie Tu'ikolovatu/Toby Johnson
RDE: Ronald Blair/Derrick Shelby/Morgan Fox
WOLB: Jordan Willis/Ejuan Price/Stephen Weatherly
WILB: Jatavis Brown/Jeremy Cash/Paul Dawson
SILB: Daryl Smith/Blair Brown/Scooby Wright III
SOLB: Connor Barwin/Kyler Fackrell
LCB: Brent Grimes/Zack Sanchez
RCB: Brandon Carr/Howard Wilson/KeiVarae Russell
SLCB: Jalen Mills/Sterling Moore/Joshua Holsey
FS: Jamal Adams/Desmond King
SS: J.J. Wilcox/Kemal Ishmael

K: Greg Zuerlein
P: Kenny Allen
LS: Justin Drescher
KR: Benny Cunningham
PR: Tyler Boyd

Jerraud Powers has retired.

As it stands now, here are the picks I have:
Round 1 Pick #2
Round 2 Pick #3
Round 3 Pick #2
Round 3 Pick #17
Round 4 Pick #3
Round 4 Pick #17
Round 5 Pick #2
Round 5 Pick #17
Round 6 Pick #3
Round 6 Pick #17
Round 6 Comp Pick
Round 7 Pick #2
Round 7 Pick #17
Round 7 Comp Pick

My plan right now is to trade down unless Myles Garrett drops. Thus, if there's a trade up in the top 5 picks, I'll accept that (barring Garrett not going #1). Otherwise, I'll make my pick and stick with it.

Gunslingers accept the trade with the Chicago Bears. We are now picking third. We might trade down again. The trade is as follows:
Gunslingers trade:
#2 pick

Bears trade:
#3 pick
#67 pick
#111 pick
2018 3rd

Barring another trade down (I'll likely accept any trade down that happens in the top 5), the Gunslingers choose with the third pick in the 2017 NFL Draft...

Jamal Adams S LSU

Entering the second round, the three players I'm deciding between are Forrest Lamp, Tyus Bowser, and Dalvin Cook. If Lamp makes it to my pick, he'll likely be my guy.

The Gunslingers are proud to announce that with the 35th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, we select...

Forrest Lamp OL Western Kentucky

This is huge for us. Our OL has really rounded into shape. Lamp will slot in at RG giving us a talented and deep OL.

I'm not sure when I'll be around tomorrow. I'll list out my fourth round board and then come back and make my remaining picks when I can.
4th round board in order:
1. Desmond King CB/FS Iowa (backup pick: Howard Wilson CB Houston)
2. Howard Wilson CB Houston (backup picks: Damontae Kazee CB/FS SDSU and Corn Elder CB/FS Miami)
3. George Kittle TE Iowa (backup pick: Jake Butt TE Michigan and Jeremy Sprinkle TE Arkansas)

I'd like to note that if Howard Wilson is gone by my second pick, I want to choose Kittle instead of the backup picks.(The backup picks would become my third picks) Same thing for Desmond King (Howard Wilson becomes the pick with Kittle next and then the backup picks for Wilson)

Following those players, Josh Reynolds, Mack Hollins, K.D. Cannon, Ishmael Zamora, Josh Dobbs, Ejuan Price, Stevie T. (NT from USC), Blair Brown, Vince Biegel, and Joshua Holsey are all high on my board. I'll likely be choosing players out of this group for my 5th round picks (and possibly 6th round picks).
