We have this thread annually so I figure it is time to fire it up again following the near end of the combine. Let's start ranking out favorite prospects for pick #14 of the 2016 draft!

The 2014 draft big board thread:

Man I didn't even make a big board last year... That's how annoyed I was w/ the "White or Cooper" banter lol. I was a ghost in here during the draft. I like mine from 2014 though. #shamelessplug

5ever.

Hard to say right now on my "big board" for the Raiders at 14. This is how I have it playing out up until then:

1) Tunsil
2) Wentz
3) Buckner
4) Ramsey
5) Jack
6) Bosa
7) Goff
Cool Elliott
9) Lawson
10) Stanley
11) Lee
12) Spence
13) Hargreaves

My list is based on current needs before free agency (OL, DB, LB)
1) Conklin
2) Decker
3) Garnett
4) Rankins
5) Robinson
6) Treadwell
7) Jackson III
Cool Thompson
9) Su'a Cravens
10) Spriggs

I think we go Robinson in that scenario.

FA has definitely changed things for us. No longer do we really need an edge player (Irvin), an interior lineman (Os) or a CB (Smith) in the first.

Warming up to Ellitot at $14. Reggie has put us in position to draft a somewhat of a luxury pick.

This is assuming we land a S and resign Penn.

Pray A much younger and slightly better option imo. Penn has been an awesome dude for us the past few seasons, but it is time to move on. His play declined far too rapidly to depend on as a blindside protector for another year.

I have also warmed to it. If he is a truly put together player who can really run, block, and especially catch. Carr really needs a sticky handed / no drops / reliable 1st down maker. We missed that last year big time. Murray sucks as a pass catcher, pretty bad. I cringed by midyear seeing the ball thrown to him even once. He should never see a pass target. We have no 3rd down back. Not that I am extolling picking a 3rd down back at #14. Moreso pointing out we have no, none, no player suited to play RB on 3rd. If Elliot can play 1st and 2nd too, hell yeah.

Excellent block and catch RBs for 3rd down are quite rare. It's a hard combo to get.
Carr is severely lacking a workhorse Witten/Welker type. Who is always there when and where he needs him on key downs.

An early board of mine:

1. Bosa
2. Ramsey
3. Tunsil
4. Jack

A more realistic range...

5. Hargreaves
6. Elliot
7. Stanley
8. Rankins
9. Conklin

Players I like but unsure of position yet...

10. Buckner
11. Lawson
12. Ragland
13. WJ3
14. Spence
15. Nkemdiche

Ronnie Staley
Laremy Tunsil,
DeForest Buckner
Joey Bosa
Jalen Ramsey
Vernon Hargreaves

If any of my top 6 are there the pick is made, no trade down...except if it's Bosa and a great trade down. I'm thinking 3-4 more than 4-3 and wasn't going to even have Bosa like how I don't have any QB's but...Talent is hard to ignore if BPA...

Ezekiel Elliott
Myles Jack

That's my 'order and the rest would be trade down to value to position.

A'Shawn Robinson, Jarran Reed, Andrew Billings, Robert Nkemdiche, Sheldon Rankins
Shaq Lawson ,Emmanuel Ogbah
Jason Spriggs, Jack Conklin, Shon Coleman
WJ III, Eli Apple, Mackensie Alexander
Reggie Ragland
Laquon Treadwell

Not without trade down...
Vernon Butler, Kenny Clark

That's 25 players with ZERO QB's taken, so were in a good spot to improve the team at some position depending on how it all goes down.
Hoping 3 QB's go before us. Hoping Conklin, Decker get over drafted before us. In simulated mocks I've always take top LT even after KO. My reasoning is 1st round picks get that 5th year option. Wishing we traded up for Carr so we'd have that option. CB is still a possibility and if we drafted one and they play well, then Amerson balling or not won't hurt us in the future.
I'm a fan of Elliot, but hoping Dallas is an even bigger fan. Just want a top 6 player to slip to us. Twisted Evil
Jaylon Smith would have made it a top 7 but...That injury drops him big time from my perspective.

I wouldn't be against trading up for Myles Jack or Jalen Ramsey... i feel we have alot of good starters but the team could use another cornerstone
