Anyone here ever play Magic the Gathering? I've never played it or seen anything about it, but does it have the same thing as Hearthstone. Different classes to base decks around that have hero powers, etc? Or is it just a completely neutral card game? If they have classes, how many do they have?

There's no classes in Magic. There are 5 different colored mana sources though and generally speaking, colors are known for doing certain things such as red aggro and blue control. Decks in Magic are mono colored or any combination of colors.

Ive never really played but I know a bit about it.

There are 5 Colors that have certain traits.

White/Red/Green/Blue/Black

White is healing and token focused. Kind of similar to Paladin
Red is burn focused
Green is minion focused
Blue is counter/control focused
Black is minion / sacrafic focused kind of simialr to Warlock

Theres also colorless or neuteral. Some cards are multicolored. There are no classes. You can play any card in any deck but need certain colored mana to acitivate certain types of cards.

Also there is no taunt. You interact on yohr opponents turn and can cast spells and block minions on your opponents turn.

I dont play Magic but thats my understanding of the game

Hmmmmm interesting. I asked because one day if blizzard did integrate the Diablo or Starcraft interface into the game, maybe there would be an introduction of new classes. I think they 9 they have right now are fine and really unique, though. I like Diablo a lot, so I would love if that universe was in Hearthstone.

I think when the update comes out will probably have a big impact.

Like, I will have 1st wing of BRM and Emperor in a few days. After that I can start saving for Tomb Pillager. If I have enough time to get the Pillager by just playing and accumulating gold before the update comes out then I won't need to spend any money because the deck will be complete.

Now, if Rogue gets more necessary cards in this expansion or there are some much needed neutral cards that come out and must have then I can just craft those if this is a card pack expansion.

How much dust do you have? If they were to release an amazing Rogue legendary, would you be able to craft it?

Nah, I can't craft it right now. After I did Bloodmage that was it. I can get at least 400 dust (as I am sure most people can do) by dusting Maexxna once this update goes live. Once I do that, I think I would need about 300 more dust to craft another legendary.
