I've been thinking the same thing. We made Moore look like Peyton Manning and Steelers are shutting them down completely .

The teams that made it in from the AFC were good teams until Tannehill and Carr went down. We just had such a brutal starting schedule that the team gave up after the first few losses. The AFC South doesn't count because they need to send a team.

The Texans are essentially what we were in 2009, outside of the offensive line.

The Ravens would've played much more competitive football than the Fins, however.

Yeah that 09 team was honestly really good and could have realistically won 12 games if not for sanchez. He literally cost us even more than 3 games but we'll say 12 wins is more realistic. Yet we had to kind of get lucky to make it in and absolutely validated it beating 2 tough teams on the road. Had we have not let up on the Colts we could have beat the Saints. Sanchez blew that game early in the year too. God when things were so much better lol...

I actually thought the 2010 team was even better than the 09 year. I wish Favre hadn't gotten hurt in 08 because that could have been a really good stretch of 3 years with him at the helm.

Just watching Pats game and it struck me! You know what makes them great? Its the tackling! We would have had 20 missed tackles by now! Don't know what to say!

What makes the patriots great isn't tackling.... its having the best headcoach of all time and one of the greatest qbs of all time. What helps the patriots be the dynasty is the lack of quaterback/ead coach combos. I mean look at the Texans game, Houston should have won that game but their QB was garbage and their playing calling lacked any urgency. Too many teams put up similar efforts against the pats.

Technically yes... BUT by laws of playoff football, The Andrew Lucks lost to the Quarterbackbowl 47 winning Joe Flaccos. Whereas the Russel Wilsons lost to the Matt Ryans, who didnt even beat the Colin Kaepernicks.

Dallas - GreenBay. Yes it was. I'm glad Dak played well because I didn't want to hear on all the talk shows about how Dallas should have played Romo. I bet when down 21-3 half the media were already writing that story.

Atlanta is so hyped right now. Parties every where, people smiling and rocking their jerseys. I'm happy for them. Hope we get there one day while I'm alive.

I hate the Steelers. For a "good" team, they sure are pathetic against the Patriots.

On the other side of things though, I love what Atlanta is doing. I've been on their bandwagon all postseason (and most of the season) and a SB victory over the Pats is just what the whole football watching world needs to see as far as I'm concerned. Especially since it seems that Kyle Shanahan is indeed stupid enough to take the HC job at San Francisco instead of continuing his success and waiting for a HC opportunity that isn't completely doomed.

Don't remind us. I think most of us were actually mocking Quinn to us as well.

No exactly. It was a roll of the dice. There were multiple teams that were going to hold out for Quinn, but the teams had to wait until after the SB. Atlanta was the only team that stuck out the process and became front runners for him. I still think if it was between us and Atlanta if we chose to wait it out Quinn still would've chose Atlanta. Bowles was considered the 2nd best defensive minded coach after Quinn on the market. So at the time to grab him rather than taking the risk of waiting was the smart move. Bowles though has looked awful in 2 seasons though. But at the time it was smart.

I mean if Bowles had Matt Ryan, Julio Jones and Devonte Freeman I'm sure we wouldn't be discussing this right now. Plus, it's not like Quinn's defense has been lighting it up all year. He's just in a better situation to win.

I still can't believe Rex took the Buffalo job over this
