Thought this was a good time to start this up again. Any reports around the NFL should be posted in this thread.

Quote:
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are not expected to use the franchise tag on Sam Bradford.
The Eagles may have to do some salary cap gymnastics after signing Zach Ertz, Brent Celek, Lane Johnson and Vinny Curry to long-term extensions. The projected salary for quarterbacks under the franchise tag is $19.7 million, which is actually less than Bradford asked for when the two sides were negotiating during the season. Schefter said the Eagles still have "some interest" in bringing back Bradford. New coach Doug Pederson has also given the quarterback his seal of approval, though Bradford's future in Philadelphia will come down to money.

Quote:
Eagles coach Doug Pederson is "interested" in bringing Nick Foles back to Philadelphia, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The quarterback wheels are spinning in Philly. Schefter reported Sunday the Eagles are no longer planning to place the franchise tag on Sam Bradford and now it looks like Pederson is gearing up for a reunion with Foles. Pederson was the Eagles' quarterback coach when the team drafted Foles in 2012. Foles is coming off a dreadful year in St. Louis but the $7.75 million he'll make in 2016 ($1.75 million base salary plus a $6 million roster bonus) is far less than what Bradford will sign for in free agency. It's unclear what the Rams would be looking for in a trade for Foles.

Bradford hitting FA will have a huge impact on the QB market. He will likely want to play for Bill O'Brien in Houston or Chip in San Fran. It also sounds like that Kaepernick could be on the move as well.

Von Miller is going to make bank this offseason. The Broncos will have to lose a bunch of players as a result.

With everything they've done this year with a pretty bad offense, this Denver defense has got to go down as an all-time great unit.

You are right, I agree I have seen them all the 67 Packers, 86 Bears, the 69 Colts and a couple of the Giants teams. The Denver team yesterday played as well or even better than the other teams I listed, what makes the Denver defensive so impressing they did it against all the new rules that sure help the Offensive.

They don't have weakness, so teams can't attack a certain part of them. Almost all great defenses still have a weaker area, and I don't see a weak area with that Denver D.

Seeing their edge rushers makes me really jealous.

The one thing I didn't expect was for Denver to physically dominate the trenches on defense like that. It was an amazing game for the unit overall.

In individual Super Bowl match-ups the defense always seems to prevail over the offense in a "best vs best" situation, but in general you get to Super Bowls by being competitive over multiple seasons and the key to that is usually a good quarterback.
