It would be career suicide (although the Paulinho to Barηa rumours are mega lol)

He can play another 3 or 4 years in Europe and still get his big money move.

Also not sure if it's been mentioned, but Will Hughes to Watford for 8m is a steal!
It really is. I've been hoping to see Hughes in the Premier League for several seasons now and I'm excited to see what he can do with Silva. Getting a young English player who has the potential to be a really good player for that price is very good business and a bit puzzling from Derby's viewpoint.

Puzzling from Derby's viewpoint and at least half a dozen other Premier League sides. Pickford for 30m and Hughes for 8m, absolute insanity.

L'Equipe: Arsenal have submitted a bid 'well over €30m' for Thomas Lemar.

Apparently he chose Arsenal over Spurs.

Would be such an upgrade over Lamela.

Yeah. I think Swansea would have been a brilliant fit for Hughes.

Particularly as Paul Clement is the manager! Although maybe that's why it couldn't happen.

Completely forgot that he was manager at Derby somehow.

Is Hughes that good? I feel like I've been hearing about him for years but with him being at Derby never really got to watch him play much. I know he's been good at the youth level but more curious about how he has looked in the Championship.

He's honestly really very good. He had a bad injury a couple of years ago which stunted his growth a bit.

It's easy to forget he's still only 22.

He should be on the same career path as Deli Alli to be honest.

Per l'Equipe AS Monaco reject €35m from Arsenal for Thomas Lemar.

Way too low for Lemar... More like €50m

As reported by others Arsenal are in talks with Lyon to sign striker Alexandre Lacazette. 1st bid was rejected but negotiations ongoing #AFC

Again as others report Arsenal also had a bid rejected for Monaco winger Thomas Lemar. That seems less likely than a deal for Lacazette #AFC

No bids for Alexis Sanchez yet. May go if price right but may sign new deal. All hypothetical. Arsenal very reticent to sell to PL club #AFC

I wish I had faith in Wenger/Dick Law to get any of these deals done but I really don't.

My guess is that if we do get Lemar or Mahrez, we'll end up selling Alexis to City. So little chatter about other clubs being interested in Ozil that I have a feeling he'll end up re-signing.

Silva is better than Lemar and Monaco sold him for €50m. Maybe €40m-€45m?

The Silva deal is up to 70m if you include all the potential bonuses though

Its also been reported that if Bakayoko goes then Monaco will absolutely not sell Lemar this window and at this point Bakayoko to Chelsea seems like a done deal.

Where in China are you? I've been to see Quanjian play quite recently, sucks Aubameyang wasn't there and I had to put up with Pato being crap.
