I really hope we trade down come Thursday. Regardless of who is there.

That has been my revelation of this draft. The talent outside of the top 8-9 is isn't worth it. Better to drop into the 30-40 range where the talent everyone is mostly equal.

I think we are sitting a a decent spot to trade back. I could see the Broncos or the Jets trying to get ahead of the Bills for Lynch. Maybe the Jets will give us Wilkerson to move up 2 spots (wishful thinking). Maybe this year will be like 2004 when we traded down twice before we picked Sanders.

I doubt they would give #20 and Mo for #18.

Maybe something like this:

#18
5th

for

Mo
2nd
4th

?

I would take it.

Just happened to read this thread again. And noticed you hit on 3 draft picks (not with the correct round/selection but this is still impressive

Broken clock is right twice a day. I did so many of them I was bound to hit a couple guys.

I did feel like I was more in tune with this draft then prior ones though.

Thanks for the invite, KingBishop!!!

Unfortunately, our Heavy Hitter, stallyns; moderator of this very Forum; moderator of NFL General; and by far the most knowledgable person of all things Colts on the entire website- has been pretty scarce for quite a while now. He rarely appears, either here or on NFL General; his knowledge, his vision, his canny insights, his unflinching loyalty to the players in the face of all opposition, are sorely missed!

He would be The Man for what you suggest. If you can coax stallyns out of his semi-retirement, your mock draft would be all the richer. I leave it up to you whether or not to send him a pm. I think I speak for all Indianapolis Colts' fans everywhere when I say,

"stallyns!! Will you not accept this invitation? We need you!"

But surely you can run in it just as well

Gosh, thanks for the compliment, KingBishop, but I wouldn't dare try!

NO ONE can match the knowledge, the clear-eyed vision to see beyond the pall of mundane statistics, the courage to stick to his opinions when all others claim otherwise- of stallyns!

I would be afraid that he would witness my fumbling efforts and step forth from the shadows to expose me as a fraud.

stallyns is your man. Persuade him to join in your mock draft- you'll be thankful for it!

-And if you can talk him into resuming his duties around here, why, we'll ALL be better off! Ha! Ha! Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing
