Okay. We've got 2 of the next 3 picks and are OTC now. I'm going to pick Connor Cook in the next 30 or so minutes unless anyone has a problem.

We're getting him in the mid-2nd and can develop him behind Rivers. I think the value is too good to pass up. Anyone vehemently opposed?

Off the field? Like when he is grocery shopping, does he block the freezer aisle with his sluggish selection of which hungry man to buy?

I think it's good value. Like you said he can sit and develop.

Connor Cook pick has been made. We are back on the clock.

Here are a few of the names available:
Jonathan Bullard DE/DT Florida
Nick Martin C/OG Notre Dame
Ryan Kelly C Alabama
Tyler Boyd WR Pittsburgh
Hunter Henry TE Arkansas
Michael Thomas WR Ohio State
Austin Hooper TE Stanford
Sterling Shepard WR Oklahoma

I was leaning towards a Center but I like all the guys on the list.

Here's our current starting line-up:
QB: Philip Rivers
HB: Todd Gurley
XWR: Kenny Britt
ZWR: Kenny Stills
SLWR: Anquan Boldin
OW: Tavon Austin
TE: Lance Kendricks
LT: Greg Robinson
LG: Jamon Brown
C: Tim Barnes
RG: Cody Wichmann
RT: Rob Havenstein

LDE: William Hayes
NT: Michael Brockers
UT: Aaron Donald
RDE: Robert Quinn
WLB: Mark Barron
MLB: Alec Ogletree
LCB: Trumaine Johnson
RCB: Janoris Jenkins
SLCB: E.J. Gaines
FS: LaMarcus Joyner
SS: T.J. McDonald

K: Greg Zuerlein
P: Johnny Hekker
LS: Jake McQuaide
KR: Benny Cunningham
PR: Tavon Austin

Henry looks awfully good right now. He can be TE2 to Kendricks. Boyd as well looks good though the additions to our WR corp might make him the 4th option he'll also have a year to grow same with Thomas and Shepard. I'd probably lean Henry then Boyd.

Rather wait on a Center? My only hesitation with Boyd is that we have a really deep WR corp right now. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE Boyd but we've got:
Boldin
Britt
Austin
James Jones
Stills
Marquez

At WR.

I was thinking Center because Tim Barnes appears to be our worst starter and Kelly or Martin are both strong prospects. But this is a deep Center class.

Would you prefer Hunter Henry to Austin Hooper? (I would.)

Center is a good thought and tbh I don't know much about the centers other than the top 2 or 3. I agree on the WR and from the little I've seen of Hooper I'd give Henry a slight edge.

Martin, Kelly and Allen? from Mich St are the only names I know. If there's no value there potentially in the 3rd then yeah grab one of Martin or Kelly and let them compete with Barnes.

BTW side note interesting rebuild by the Chargers GM.

Thinking about it. I think I'm with you on the Center position. We can wait. It's a deep class. Can likely get a quality one in the 3rd, 4th, or 5th round. TE isn't deep at all.

Hunter Henry seems like the best pick here. We all okay with that one?

I'd pull the trigger on Henry. There's Turek, Kelly and others later on.

3rd Round - Pick 13 - Overall: 77 | Team: LA

Next pick in a couple days I'm guessing.

GG Chris on the trade for Solder and Flowers. Do we move Wichmann inside to C and not draft a C?

We're moving Greg inside to LG with the plan to have Jamon and Wichmann battle it out at RG. I think we're still planning to draft a Center at some point.
