I've told you all for a long time that we should be running this team (atleast over Fisher)

Yep. Here's evidence:

McVay said DB Lamarcus Joyner will work at free safety during the offseason program. McVay sounded confident Joyner can make the adjustment.

Totally. He will be a stud there IMO. Puts Mo back at a position he will be more effective in and improves our secondary immediately.

This is all very good news. McVay has me extremely excited for this upcoming season.

yeah this is weird. I'm optimistic. I'm usually always optimistic and have a skewed perception of how the team can perform, but with the "We, Not Me" mentality they are preaching, along with an upgrade at LT, the secondary essentially getting 2 new starters at FS and SS, and a D coordinator with a highly proven track record....I'm gitty. Only thing that scares me is Goff's progression in the new system and sadly that's the most important Domino to fall.

Im cautiously optimistic... the only thing with the whole "we not me" slogan is... sorttttaaa reminds me of the dreaded Spags and his 4 pillars a little bit.

Im all for having high character, togetherness, and all that good stuff, but if stuff isnt going your way and start losing that can go out the window REAL fast. So as long as they dont talk about it and be about it then I support it. Everyone is optimistic and positive this time of year-- Im ready for results.

The only difference I see between the Spags era optimism and this is the talent level. Spags teams were not talented, besides SJAX and the tail end of Holt, those team were not very talented. Riddled with wasted draft picks.

This team on the other hand is extremely talent on Defense with probowl caliber players in Donald, Ogletree, Tru, and Quinn.

The offense has a probowler in Whitworth and Gurley. The WR/TE/QB are yet to be seen, but who knows?

Spags's coaching staff was also craptastic if you look back on it. We've got a really proven and experienced staff.

Yea, I love it. I've been advocating for us to do it for years. Joyner's weaknesses are masked and his strengths are magnified at FS. Plus, I love his range and the way he hits. Alexander is definitely a better fit at SS too. We've upgraded at three positions imo.

JL55 has retired. It seems he wasn't getting any bites to play and decided to hang up the cleats. Best of luck, you were a class act for the Rams.

Two things that shouldn't shock anybody happened today. We exercised Aaron Donald's 5th year option. And we did not exercise Greg Robinsons 5th year.
