Field Yates

Sheesh

And that explains the lack of interest around the NFL.
even with that, in still kinda surprised that Williams hasn't brought him in.

Maybe he is just waiting now till after week 8 to join a contender that needs him at that point

Looks like the Fins picked him up.

They also dropped Dion Jordan.

Such a waste.

Don't know if you guys saw, but Case Keenum signed with Minnesota

Gus Frerotte, Shaun Hill, Sam Bradford and now Case Keenum.

All of your QBs are belong to us Wink

Anyways, good move for him you think?

That's pretty great. I mean, he's set to be the #3 in the near future. Surely he could've landed a more prominent backup job.

But then again, the two in front of him are anything but durable. Maybe a sneaky good move for him.

Was chatting with my HC where I coach at (JSerra) Pat Harlow, yes the former 1st round pick and Dad of Oregon St's OL Sean Harlow, and he says Havenstein belongs at RG. He prepares OL every year for the draft and the NFL including Travis Frederick and our own Rob Havenstein-- so for him to endorse Havenstein at guard says a lot.

Sounds good to me.

The Rams official Instagram account just posted a picture stating with signed CB Nickell Robey-Coleman from the Buffalo Bills. Another USC guy. 25years old. Might just be a special teams guy or Nickel Corner.

He's actually an excellent nickle corner. I love it.

Really interested to see what Wade Phillips can do with our defense. Doesn't look all that great on paper, IMO. At least not the way it looked just two years ago.

After reading this, did anyone else picture that scene in Moneyball where Brad Pitt walks in the room and tells all his old scouts that their "eye test" isn't going to fly anymore and we're going with Jonah Hill and his computer stats? lol

Yep. And it's great. I feel like, in my very limited time with the old staff, that they're really kinda stuck in the past. From scouting to coaching to play calling.

I haven't said it much, but every time I hear McVay talk, I am more and more impressed. Everyone says he is an incredible repository of football knowledge and he sounds like it. And I really love the fact that he has been groomed in the modern era. So he is bringing fresh ideas and a fresh approach to the X's and O's.

Time will tell if it's a good hire or not. But he has me really excited.

In the presser today, McVay confirmed that Joyner will move to FS
