Musgrave or Robertson?

Musgrave

I imagine the poor showing by the entire O (not just Cook) in the Houston game sealed his fate.

thats ridiculous.

What is? The fact the offensive gameplan was a complete joke, or the fact that it was what potentially pushed Jack/Reggie over the edge to can him? I read Jack and co were uneasy with the playcalling that got Carr hurt late in the game, add in the fact that Downing was likely to leave and the horrible Houston showing on O, and I am not surprised Musgrave is gone. The Houston game very well could have been the last straw.

So Musgrave wanted to stay but we didn't fire him.

Sucks for Musgrave, he needed another year to be a head coacb candidate. I'm sure he'll find another OC job.

Wow! They will regret not hiring Shannanon IMO. Not a shot at Vance. Now they have to change the offense and the defense. Pretty sure the defense was solid.

I love Mark Davis. He embodies so much of the good old days of football. In a world of suits, he is who he is. Bad hair cut, Raiders gear head to toe.

Never change Mark Laughing [/img]

They really won't. Shanahan is a punk. He can call an offense, but people don't like the guy. Talk to Redskin fans or Falcon fans about it. He's not a leader. I was hoping they'd hire Shanahan so he could have a McDaniel's like flame out for them.

Vance doesn't really evoke much in me. Seems like just a guy who was riding a lot of talent in Miami and got their faces kicked in against Pitt.

So were Belichick, Tomlin, Gase and O'brian. He may be a punk but he would have been better than Vance and now like I said they have to change both systems. They'll regret it.

Why did they hire a defensive coach? They already have an elite defense and the best DC in the game. Now their whole defensive philosophy is gonna maybe change and they still don't have answers on offense.

Bad signing by them.. IMO. I thought Vance would end up on the Niners but considering how dysfunctional they are, definitely a good decision to stay away from that organization.

Well I feel a little better now about letting Musgrave go. The guy couldn't even land an OC job. Will be Denver's QB coach.

There were some teams that wanted him as their OC. He decided to join the Broncos though.

Holy hell. How did we do that? I wonder if it takes into consideration the potential move/new stadium thus far? Or if it is simply his PR work and the fact we are a competitive team now.
