Murray is a dime a dozen back. Shouldn't be difficult. Heck, Washington/Richard have already shown more than he ever did IMO.

lol... just a couple of weeks ago, as i was saying mcgloin isn't a good player, there were posters here saying he could start on multiple teams. reality check tbh

bruce gradkowski was a better backup than mcgloin was, and nobody thought bruce was ever going to be a legit NFL starter

Well, we'll all find out for sure next year. Later McScrappy. It's Cook's turn to hold the clipboard.

RB class is deep this year. We can replace Murrays production anywhere from rounds 1-5. There are so many solid backs coming in.

I don't want to draft a RB before the 3rd because i value other postions much higher and from that point on, i can't tell a prospect is sure to be able to produce at Murray's level, no matter how good the class is viewed at the moment. I'd rather take the safe route of re-signing a known commodity (even if he isn't great) than rolling the dice on some mid round prospect who'd be asked to play a major role in his rookie season. Murray won't be expensive. That wouldn't stop us from adding a RB in the draft and see what we have for a year. If the guy is good, move on from Murray the following year.

Sources: The #Raiders need a new offensive coordinator. Bill Musgrave not expected to return to the team for 2017. Had 6th ranked offense.

My guess is Todd Downing is getting promoted.

My thoughts exactly.. we got rid of the wrong coordinator.

Possible offensive regression + bad defense next year? If we go 8-8 I'll be furious.

Todd Downing would have gotten some looks for a OC job with the job hes done with Carr. Had to promote him and not lose him. With keeping Todd Downing system pretty much can stay the same aside from his own little add ons
