We might need to sign 4 DL next class.

We've now missed on top DTs the last two cycles.

Now some sources say that the scholarship spot for Jarez Parks has not yet been accepted.

He announced 15 minutes ago.

This is really weird.

He's a smart kid. Apparently wants to go to medical school (if I remember correctly).

Crazy situation.

This class is INCREDIBLE.

Who are you guys most excited about? For me I'd say:

Dylan Moses
LaBryan Ray
Jerry Jeudy
Najee Harris

Do we know anything about Kedrick James? I haven't heard he has signed already.

This was the best class in the country this year and Nick Saban's best class ever.

It was actually absurdly close to the best class of all time according the 24/7 composite.

2010 Florida - 323.66 (93.55 average)
2017 Alabama - 322.53 (93.61 average)

We also had 15 guys on campus early as early enrollees. That's absurd. Those guys are going to get a lot of extremely valuable practice time and time in the strength program.

Guys I'm most excited about:
Alex Leatherwood - could be a day one starter on the OL. He's going to be special. Love that he's on campus already.

Najee Harris - he's an elite RB prospect. And it's going to be so fun watching him run behind the OL talent we've been collecting for years. Scouts are saying he's like Derrick Henry but with more agility. I can't quite imagine what that looks like.

Dylan Moses - I feel like we've been talking about him for so long. And there was a long time where it didn't seem like we had a shot. Everything had to go perfectly in terms of timing with Les Miles' firing. He's going to be a special LB in the middle of this defense.

Tua Tagovailoa - he went to the same high school as Marcus Mariota and his coach says he is more accurate than Mariota was at this stage. When he gets a chance, I think we can expect him to be a very capable starter.

All 4 WRs - our WR numbers were going to take a huge hit after this season but we really cleaned that up in this class. Jeudy will contribute from day 1 as a WR. Ruggs could as well and should be able to contribute as a returner immediately. Smith is going to be a great one too. Highest upside to Shavers. 6'6, 196 and around 4.4 speed.

LaBryan Ray and Isaiah Buggs - they describe Ray as a future Jonathan Allen. These two guys are going to be key players in determining if we compete for a national title next year. Both need to step up and contribute immediately in the DL rotation.

Jarez Parks - This is my favorite prospect in this class and my favorite player on the roster in a long time. First, he wanted to be at Alabama so badly that he was willing to take a gray shirt. He's a top 100 player (93). That never happens. Second, since he's got a 4.0 and wants to go to medical school and because of my profession, I have a soft spot for him. Really hope this kid turns out to be a star. Love his attitude.

We have some mean guys in this class. Leatherwood, Cowan, Ray, Allen, and Benton are just a few that stand out.

We went into Louisiana and dominated the state. We took Dylan Moses (from Baton Rouge), Devonta Smith, Phidarian Mathis, Christopher Allen (from Baton Rouge), and Isaiah Buggs.

I couldn't find it on Twitter bcuz there was so much to dig thru considering the volume of NSD tweets, but I swear I saw Andrew Bone or saying that James was going to be one of the biggest steals in the last 5 years.

I hope he gets enrolled this month. I want to see him out there on A-Day. Maybe even special teams come fall. I don't know about our kicker, but I bet our special teams will be crazy with young guns like Cowan, Moses and others out there like Collins, Sunseri and those that came before them that paid their dues. Multiple 5* out there actually make kick coverage fun to watch.
