My favorite prospect. It looks like he's declaring early which is great since his pass-catching talents aren't being fully utilized right now with a deep rotation of players. He's 6'3" 225, has gigantic hands, a leaper, can make spectacular catches, super-smooth hips, suddenness, good speed, a fine downfield blocker and can hold his own on the line of scrimmage.

Guy is legitimate. Been saying it since the spring.

Highlights.

If it were up to me I'd make him make a permanent switch to WR. He's got the skill set.

He looks like a WR, he plays like a WR, he lines up at WR....

He seems to track the ball exceptionally well and has great hand eye coordination. Before the draft I'd like to go back and watch a couple games without Treadwell to see if he still functions well when defenses aren't focused on another offensive threat. Playing with Moncrief and Treadwell though I just wish Ole Miss didn't have Bo Wallace and instead had a good QB to see just how great they all could be. I think Evan Engram would be a good over sized slot receiver that has that extra blocking ability for WR screens. I want him on the Raiders for that role currently to line up between Amari Cooper and the offensive line.

He's not a TE. He's a damn fine receiving prospect but he's not a TE

He looks like fellow Rebel Donte Moncrief at first sight. As a Jet fan, I get to see how our team moves big receivers around the formation (especially Decker, who's pretty much a full time slot receiver) and I think that will or should be his NFL role. I agree with your observations, but unlike last year's popular tweener Devin Funchess, we haven't seen much of Engram lined up as an X or Z as much (at least I don't think). That said, I strongly feel Egram can be a high caliber possession receiver in the right offense, especially if he's utilized as a slot receiver/HBack with enough talent to develop into an impactful outside receiver.

Hips at 0:30, 1:10, 2:06. Goodness gracious. I could watch this all day.

Oh, and Evan Engram just liked the Tweet I sent him. Sweet. Very Happy

His hand eye coordination is outstanding too.

So... we have to ask it. Why isn't he playing more this year? What's going on?

I Tweeted this thread to Evan's Twitter, so he's going to read all of this. So watch yourself.

My proof that he's entering the draft. Liked my Tweet. Laughing

That's in the highlight video I posted too.

He's something else. His hands are gigantic. Can't wait to see what they measure at the combine. I'm thinking maybe 10 1/8.

Given his combine, how do y'all think he would project as a pure-play WR?

He is a pure slot WR. He doesn't need to line up anywhere else. I don't ever expect him to line up as a true in-line TE. So yeah, he's a WR. A flex WR that doesn't leave the slot.

I really like Engram, as do most people here. I'm hoping if the Browns go somewhere other than OJ Howard at #12, they are able to get Engram in the middle of round 2 with their 2nd 2nd rounder.

As another poster pointed out in the Broncos forum I could see Engram going 20. A bigger faster Shannon Sharpe who Elway knows how much of a help a player like that could be for any QB.
