Great game last night from the C's

Balls drop tonight too

Good to see the C's get things done in 7 after blowing it 6. That's mental toughness.
Honestly, I don't expect us to beat the Cavs since they're much more rested, but we're more set up for the future than them. |

I have to admit that I don't and have never followed basketball, but the way people on Twitter are talking, it sounds like the Celtics fleeced the Nets in a manner reminiscent of the Herschel Walker trade. Is that accurate? |

We basically traded Pierce and Garnett for Brooklyn's firsts in 14, 16 and 17. |

They traded 3 players (former all-stars) who were either over the hill or on their way towards that. Brooklyn's new ownership thought they could win now, and really mortgaged their future.
The Celtics freed up a TON of cap space.
They got 4 first round picks, 1 of which ended up #4 overall, last nights #1 overall, and next years will be in the running for #1 overall.
The Nets got fleeced. _________________ (XXXVI) (XXXVIII) (XXXIX) (XLIX) (LI) |

The Nets got fleeced. | So more or less the same as the Walker trade. |

That was the most embarrassing loss I can remember with all things considered. _________________

Pretty gritty game by Celtics. Down by 10+ middle of the third quarter and did great defensively on Bron. _________________

When he's hobbled and not 100% he is. | I'm sure they'll put that disclaimer in their headline. _________________
