I think Pablo is a decent fill in. Hits like .260 with close to 20 HRs, probably not a great slugging percentage or on base.

Keep in mind that Bogut CANNOT sign with Golden State for a year after being traded.

He can sign with Golden State. He cannot sign with Dallas. It's the last team that trades you

Bogut signing with the Cavs is a lowkey kick in the nuts.

Nice to see Brown is emerging with his increase in playing time. Big time shot last night.

Great game by the C's

Avery halting Kyrie on that possession was beyond amazing

We've definitely missed Bradley. Man Kyrie was ridiculous though.

Really hope last night was a preview of the ECF.

Welp, looks like we won't be watching David Price this year. Experiencing elbow/forearm soreness and seeing Dr. Andrews for a second opinion. Huge blow.

First base has to be an area of concern. Mitch Moreland is a replacement level player against righties and below that against lefties. The corners may give us trouble all year long, but the rest of the lineup should be strong enough to counteract it. Plus, this is the Red Sox' best pitching in a long, long time.

Let's not overreact just yet. Obviously not a good sign, but I wouldn't say he's done for the year already...

John Farrell said it was a real concern among Sox medical staff. It seems like he is going to miss at least some amount of time.

Without elite starting pitching, the Sox aren't a real contender barring something very unexpected happening with the offense.

Agreed, and if he is out for the year, then we are majorly hurting, but 1FTT's comment wasn't based on anything concrete.

I would say anytime someone is going to see Dr. James Andrews for a second opinion, it's never good. There's a possibility we see a Carson Smith scenario, where they try to pitch through it, but it's delaying the inevitable, IMO.

The list of people who have gone to James Andrews for a second opinion and not needed TJ (either ASAP or soon after) is incredibly small. Like count them on one hand small.

At this point he's not really a second opinion, he's a confirmation of the initial diagnosis. Guys don't get sent to Andrews unless the consensus among team doctors is TJ is needed

I hope Price is one of the very few who avoid TJ but anytime Andrews's name comes up, it has to be a very very strong likelihood

So apparently Price's MRI was inconclusive and that is why the second opinion is being gotten. Meeting today, sometime in the afternoon...

Pray
