The creativity he exhibits with the ball in his hands gives me flashbacks of David Wilson from his final year at VT.

I love Barkley but I'm a psu homer so...

Where I coach, we have a 180 pound FB (we run the triple option) who as a 16 year old not quite junior power cleaned 335. Shocked

Side note, I do like Barkley, he's legit. I don't think he's dynamic at the next level but I think he'll be solid. I could see him going in Round 2.

How can you watch him play and say this? He's the definition of dynamic.

He's a very dynamic COLLEGE FOOTBALL player.

Man, two guys rip me for saying that he'll be SOLID at the next level but not DYNAMIC (I.E. AD, Barry, LT, Marshall, etc.).

I don't see him as that great, but I see him as a very good back that will be drafted probably in Round 2.

What runningbacks do you like exactly....?

...I don't think you understand what the word "dynamic" means

I don't think I see 4.38 speed. I think he looks faster than last year, but sub 4.4 just doesn't seem right.

That isn't really a big deal though. I mean how many top backs crack that threshold? Most are in the 4.4s or 4.5s.

If I had to guess I'd say he comes in at 4.43 which is still great.

I think more than 40 time, I think his lower body explosion numbers will be nuts whenever he gets to the combine.

I always like watching the other drills with RB's. Short shuttles and stuff, things that showcase short area quickness and change of direction.

Jeezo peat Candy give me a break here man. I just had a kid 2 weeks ago and am running on absolute fumes here man. Aside from that, I said above that I did like him and thought he would be solid.

I just am not willing to call him the best prospect since _____________ like other people in this thread.

That's really all I was saying, but next time I'll just say some obligatory comment like "I like him lots. I think he goes in Round 1-2. The kids good."

As for IDOG, go pound sand and drink a glass of whole milk with Jimmy Harbaugh.

Barkley was timed at 4.38 during spring ball last spring. Of course, we all know how to take those type of timings.

That said, he's certainly not slow. I think he'll be under 4.45. But you combine that with his strength and agility, that's a hell of a combination. He's also a good receiver and good blocker for being a 2nd year player (though he still has work to do there, but so do most RBs).

IF he was draft eligible for 2017, where would he fit in?

Top 5 pick. First RB off the board.

He's better than Fournette IMO.

Give mad props to the guy after that legendary rose bowl. He kicked the Trojans butts. Made that defense look silly.

Future first round pick on the making. Was actually disappointed he couldn't make it to this draft.

Reportedly ran a 4.33.

Kid has ample size at 5'11" 233 and good agility to boot. Complete package in my opinion. Sometimes he does struggle if the opposing defense puts 8 in the box.

I opened the video up in quick time to measure it. It's hard to tell what the full 40 is because you can't see the finish line, but I stopped it when they stopped it and also got 4.33 for his 40. I also got 1.55 for his first 10 and 2.62 for his first 20.
