tough one, Latu comes in already having one of the better move sets but the injury is obviously a big asterisk. I’ll say Verse, though I totally get the Latu love. Hate that they are both going to be 24 this season. That kinda makes you wary too, are they already maxed out and took advantage of that gap in school? Looking at the two side by side if I had to say that was maybe more of the case for one…I’d say Latu benefited in a way that he won’t in the NFL. Shorter arms, advanced hand usage has a counter way more in the league when you are playing mostly long athletic freaks every week. I do like that Latu fought back to play, just like I like Verse’s story of how he got to FSU. So haven’t had too much negative mindset stuff that helps sway things. As I said up top personal preference, I’ll take Verse as the better career pick. Already way ahead on the power side of things and he isn’t totally devoid of the bend or hand moves. Think that translates to longer more productive careers. Just throwing out the injury stuff for Latu here because that makes it an all the more easier choice. Latu: More dependent on situation but a higher boom potentially if he can develop more power or just allowed to rush upfield with advantage outside. Verse: Should be able to fit wherever, has a higher floor to me. Longer frame/arms than a lot of guys who usually fall in this camp. Latu is more of an ornamental finishing piece for a team than Verse, who I can see being a pillar type player…even if his sack numbers aren’t as high as Latu. Does a lot more for you.

I just don't know what it is, guys. I just feel it in my bones that they are going to get this pick right. I think they will be aggressive enough to get to 3 to ensure that they get their guy. They have done so much homework and have really taken their time to make sure they have identified the QB that they feel for certain KOC is going to be able to develop, which I think he will. KOC made Kirk play the best ball he's ever played, had Nick Mullens throw for 400 yards, and won two games with Josh Dobbs who didn't even know his teammates' names or any of the plays. I also honestly can't think of any other situation that has been this good for an incoming top 5 pick maybe, ever. We have been settling since I've been a fan, and long before that, and we finally have the people in charge who want to change that. Maybe I'm blinded by my purple-colored sunglasses, but it's an exciting time to be a Vikings fan and I'll be excited no matter what.

To me this little thread is spot on when it comes to the Corley/Deebo comparisons

Is this "per attempt" or "per target"? Based on the x-axis scale, i'm guessing the former? Which is basically just a measurement of how much of a "focal point" they were in their respective offense?

For me, as prospects, it'd be: Chase. Jefferson. OBJ. Landry. Nabers. Thomas Jr. Marshall. Boutte. But i have a tendency to prefer receivers who just get the ball and move the chains, over "home run" threats. I had OBJ and Landry very close, despite the latter testing pretty poorly athletically. I also don't think i have as much separation between Nabers and Thomas Jr as most. Nabers is better, but Brian Thomas Jr has just as much "upside" if not more. He's just...far more raw with a lot more unrealized headroom. Yeah. I think at the end of the day, Brian Thomas Jr is going to be one of those guys that teams start to get an itchy trigger finger on. The upside is too big there. A guy that big and fast, with natural movement skills and body control and good hands? I think more than a few teams are going to take the approach of, "we can teach him to run new routes - and we were gonna have to do that with most of these guys anyway". He's gonna go somewhere in the teens.
