Only at a huge discount. There's no way Belichick invests the sort of money in the position that it would likely take to bring him in.

Yeah, I mean in the right sense of things, I'd want Revis resigned over signing Peterson. What would be a realistic price tag for Peterson from both sides of the table?

What happens with McCourty? His contract is up after this season, right? Surely we do all we can to secure him

With Mankins gone, and assuming Amendola's cap hit is gone too, I think there's enough space to sign Revis+McCourty and one other high impact FA. Whether or not Peterson would either warrant a big contract, or be the best use of funds is debatable though.

I doubt they could afford him, but I would take a run at Suh before Peterson.

Without a doubt. The Wilfork sized hole will become a bigger problem than RB (if it hasn't already).

Suh would probably be a DE in a 30 front. If he were to come in it would probably be Suh - Fork - Easley/Nink. It would allow Chandler to play exclusively as the elephant LB

Eh, dude's not so annoying.

Definitely don't think it's the most inspirational quote though...

My HS football team's strength-and-conditioning coach used to give us game day speeches where he swore loudly and harshly, about all the terrible things we were going to do to the opposing team.

Those were inspirational.
