...yellow journalism much?

That's such a bad case of yellow journalism that William Randolph Hearst has come back from the dead and is using it to push the US to declare war on Spain.

Really wish sports media was better than this. It's delving to the depths of ridiculousness as average cable news networks.

Also, Time should know better.

Peterson will be on the market after this year. The Patriots will have a huge need at RB. I won't take another player to support Brady in the limelight of his career......

Only at a huge discount. There's no way Belichick invests the sort of money in the position that it would likely take to bring him in.

Yeah, I mean in the right sense of things, I'd want Revis resigned over signing Peterson. What would be a realistic price tag for Peterson from both sides of the table?

I think Peterson will be looking for 4 years/40 mil. If not for the legal issue, it would be closer to 55 mil.

I dunno, he'd be a 30 year old RB, with off field issues, who hasn't played football in almost a year. It would be an act of great optimism if someone were to pay him 10+ per year.

I honestly think he'll get a big payday, more than 10/year, no matter what. He is the consensus #1 RB in the NFL, I think that heavily outweighs his legal problems. Besides, this country has extremely short attention spans when it comes to stuff like this. There will be another huge story soon enough, let alone almost a year from now, and AP will be forgiven by most.

I am now officially an employee of Robert Kraft, well I think I am? Hawking beers at Gillette counts right?

So excited I've never even been to a game.
