My guess on how the game plays out:

- Intense game, battle for field positions and not a lot of points.

- Dominant defense from both teams. A lot of sacks and turnovers. Defense could score one of the few TDs in this game.

- McCoy gets a safety!

- Horrible running game from both teams. Altough winning team starts to have success at the end.

- Not much success in passing game either, but i have to give slight edge to Bucs.

- We won't see this Very Happy from Newton.

12-10 win.

As a Saints fan, the Bucs have my blessings this week. Hope you guys stomp them. Or beat them 13-6. Whichever way suits you guys.

For some odd reason I have always kind of liked the Bucs. Never have had any love for Carolina. Easy one to cheer for me. I used to love Alstott. I could watch him rumble through defenders all day.

We all don't like the panthers lol. I actually do have respect for the saints when we are not playing them and no playoff implications are in play.

I hate all opposing NFC South teams. Wink But I do have respect for Brees and how he conducts himself. Freakin can't stand Cam or the Panthers, though I enjoy living in NC, weird right. Not at all a fan of Matt Ryan and I really don't like the Falcons, so by default, I guess the Saints are my least hated NFC South team, but there is something I love about beating the perennially crowned NFC South Champ before the season starts. However I can't stand the calls you get in games. A lot of them are bull due to being the Saints. Not much a fan of Sean Payton and his pooch lipped look on the sidelines either. Laughing

It hasn't been a decade, we made the playoffs in 06. ALMOST a decade though.

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is already big.

But he cut an even more imposing figure Monday, wearing a heavily padded flak jacket to protect the hairline fracture in a rib that kept him out of the preseason finale.

I told him in the event of a water landing he can be used as a flotation device, center Ryan Kalil cracked, via Bill Voth of Black and Blue Review.

Newton apparently didnt look perfectly loose during the portion of practice open to media, but that stands to reason. After taking a nasty shot in the third preseason game against the Patriots, hes done little since then.

He threw a few more passes today than we expected, Panthers coach Ron Rivera said. Hes all right. Hes sore, but its not like it was when it first happened.

Theres little doubt hell play Sunday against Tampa, as hes demonstrated his toughness during his three years there.

The question is how much the time he missed this offseason (both because of ankle surgery and the recent rib issue), will impair a Panthers offense thats breaking in an entirely new receiving corps and a mostly-new offensive line.

So basically he is playing. However he is wearing rib protection pads and he is still new to his own offense.

Good! I want him playing. I wanna beat them with Cam on the field. I really hope our D just goes ape [inappropriate/removed] on his [inappropriate/removed].

Oh man I hate the panthers.

With no OC, this is gonna be low scoring.

My prediction.......13-6. We score one TD that's the difference.

If you have fantasy players (not defense) don't start em. Also if you are fortunate enough to get to a sports book(god I love Vegas) LOAD UP on the under!!!

why exactly do all of you think the panthers will score less than 20, sometimes even less than 14 points?

i mean the panthers averaged 29 points in the two games last year and we made lateral moves or upgrades everywhere outside of LT. do you think jordan gross is worth two touchdowns? is cam's hairline fracture going to hurt us that much?

or is it that verner is better than revis? are michael johnson and his 3.5 sacks going to improve your pass rush a ton?

ah, maybe our 2nd ranked defense is not going to capitalize on an offense without their primary playcaller not around? is that? no good field position or anything?

just want to hear some explanations.

It is a better and more suitable defensive scheme and staff so don't be shocked by our defense.

Carolina got depleted on the OL and might be just as bad as our OL. Lack of weapons as well.

I think it's going to be a low scoring game on both ends to be honest. Idk why most of our Buc fans think were gonna put up 20+.
