I would like to see Manziel in a red-zone package in this game. That is where he is truly a dangerous playmaker and QB. "Money"
With Hoyer in there are not many options in the red zone, and it has always plagued us. Run, play action, or Cameron. Hawkins can get open now as well but that will only work once in this game. They will have Cameron doubled every time. Maybe Gabriel or another TE? We could score one running with Tate or West.
However I would put my money on a Manziel handoff, PA bootleg, then a 3rd down shotgun scramble or if heavy blitz do a quick wr screen to counter it. He may not be a full time qb yet but he is a red zone td machine.
24-20 Browns! Hoyer gets us in position for 10 of those and the defense/special teams for 14.
Ray Agnew leads Ben Tate to a big run. |

Honestly I feel like it will be a close game up till around the 3rd quarter when our defense finally shows signs of exhaustion for being on the field too long. I think our run game will work for us in the first half, but, the steelers adjust during half time and dare Hoyer to beat them......unfortunately I don't trust Hoyer enough to do it....especially in the first game of the season when players are still "fresh".
I think the only way we win is if our defense plays huge; as in 1-2 INTs, provide excellent field position for the offense, and maybe even a pick 6....also if our run game is as good as were hoping it to be to where we wont have such a lopsided time of possession. I just don't believe in Hoyer from what I've seen.....I felt the "3-0" start that the media and other fans are giving him are way overblown....Hoyer didn't win those games, he did enough to not lose it...and again he "won" the starting position because the coaches didn't feel Manziel was ready and/or didn't want to throw him into that gauntlet of defenses the Browns face before the bye week.
I want the Browns to play well....but I'm really hoping to see Manziel after the bye week or at least play 8 games or so for the experience....I feel like Manziel will continue to improve and become the QB we have been longing for (hopefully). |

Not saying the steelers D is a slouch by any means but they aren't the D of the days of old. Big runs are a very real possibility. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |

Where is the Steelers' GDT. This is a travesty. Although its probably better that they don't have one so we don't get anyone banned. _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |

Dreamt last night the Browns won 14-0
Hoyer played a safe game and Haden had a pick six, which he dunked over the goalposts |

Depth chart for week one can be found here:

Interesting, but not surprising, to see Skrine get the starting nod over Gilbert. Also, Robertson over Kirksey. In the end, I wouldn't put too much stock in who is starting because there is so much rotation on defense.
Biggest surprise overall though is Dion Lewis getting the 3 rb position considering he was cut.... |

This would be the 4th year in a row I've had it and my bill keeps creeping up there. I got online and had a chat with someone and said "My bills too high. Do something about it or I'm going to Comcast." They said here call this number
They took several fees off of my bill and gave me Sunday Ticket for free. BOOM _________________ 2013 Browns Forum HOF |
