There's going to be a lot of team cuts in the upcoming days when teams go to 53-man rosters, a lot of those players are nobodies and unknowns so all those releases should be posted here.

Bengals to release RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis, per @JasonLaCanfora. Youth movement in backfield also saves $2.3M in cash/cap space

JWJ is easily better than the Law Firm, at this point. Good on the Bengals for going young as possible at a position where longevity is never guaranteed.

The cap hit made it an easy decision for Mike Brown. I'd like to believe as well it was because we wanted to get younger and let JWJ develop, but in reality it's the cap hit that did BJGE in...

Mariani is a good returner, but we have 2 other pro bowl returners on our roster who can contribute more on offense.

If any team is hurting for a returner, Mariani should be signed asap.

I know with Mike Brown it's all about the money. But honestly, I think JWJ will start for you guys for the next 4+ years when he develops and he's younger, cheaper, and his style is a superior version of Law Firm.

Though yes the money more than likely was the determining factor.

Who do you think picks up BJGE.

JWJ isn't starting over Gio and Hill.

I don't know if this makes me a sociopath but I love this time of year when guys you don't expect to get cut finally hit the open market. I think Josey (Former Eagles RB) will catch on somewhere although he could make it to the PS - wonder if they'll keep Tucker on the 53?

Not right away, no. But I fully believe he will. I have a pretty high opinion of him as a player.
