It really seems like they're throwing flags just for the sake of throwing flags.

That side judge has an arm Laughing

Threw a one hopper from the sideline to the hash.

All of these refs are gonna look like Ed Hochuli by the end of the season.

Our QBs have been surprisingly efficient tonight. 23 passes, only 5 incompletions. Didn't think it would be anywhere near that.

I wish Demps would try to bounce some of his runs to the outside and utilize his speed.

Not a lot of teams have great depth behind fantastic starters. McCoy and David have to stay healthy for this defense to be dominate. I actually liked what I saw from McDonald, seems to add additional pass rush in the interior. I saw him slide over to the three technique and have Spence at NT when McCoy was on the sideline and was effective.

Today was a good step in the right direction. I think Bowers is a gonner, unless he has a dynamic effort on Thursday.

Good performance from the first team offense after some early issues and a great defensive performance from the first team. Our O-Line appeared to sort themselves out as they went against a very good defensive front.

The backups? Meh.

I'd agree with that if glennon actually looked good. It's bad when McCown has been head and shoulders better.

Hows that????? Laughing

Well for one in TC practices it hasn't been close. Two lol against 2nd and third stringers glennon couldn't move an offense. Laughing

You do realize when he's against other 2nd and 3rd stringers that he's working with 2nd and 3rd stringers himself right? Just want to make sure you realize that, and it may make a small difference...

Matt mcgloin has torn it up with 3rd stringers. What's your excuse?

I caught a few drives of the game being at an outing tonight. Rewatching the game but from the sounds of it our defense looked nasty and our offense capitalized first half.

Man Saints are going to be so good this year. Drew Brees looks as sharp as ever....

Their defense doesn't look too bad either. Mad

That's what's scary. Their defense was good at year and I think they improved.

They'll probably be top three-five on both sides of the ball. Sucks. Evil or Very Mad

As I'm watching the remainder or the first half:

Positive:
- Doug Martin is an animal. I know the OL is a bit struggling especially the left side to me seems of concern.
- McCown looked pretty solid. I don't think the int was his fault. Took what the defense gave him and exposed some mismatches with good reads.
- the defense especially the front 7 is something I like. I had a hard time finding a negative.
- Lavonte David and mason foster. Two are going to make some noise this year.
- like the way banks comes up and tackles and made some nice plays in the secondary.
- the right side of the OL looked solid and improved.

Negatives
- cousins cannot block at all and he absolutely looked lost. Pulling on a few plays I'm not sure what he was doing but he just didn't touch anyone which allowed lbs to run free through his gap and EDS. I'm not sure if smith is completely at fault but we need to find a solution there because cousins doesn't belong on an nfl roster IMO.

- Collins at LT is another concern to me as well. He's not really fluid in the run game and to be honest didn't really impress in pass protection. Ehh hopefully that gets squared away.

-

You're gonna compare his performance to other QBs from other teams?? Laughing Laughing

If you think Josh Mccown would do better with the 2nd offense than Glennon you're smoking something good.
