And that drive shows what no pass rush does for a Tampa 2.

That's what happened in Miami last week when I criticized our pass D....forgot how vulnerable Tampa 2 is without pass-rush

That's the concern. If McCoy goes down, do we have enough pass rush to make this defence work? Right now, i'm not so sure.

You can absolutely see the difference between our defensive starters and our backups. They don't swarm to the ball. They miss a lot of tackles. They're very clearly not anywhere near as fast. And the pass rush is non-existent.

I know that its our backups out there vs Bills first team offense but if we lose this game it will really bug me....

I know its preseaon and our starters beat them up good but still...

Same.

Our starters outplayed them. Takes the shine off this a bit that they've just walked down the field twice.

This is the 2nd biggest weakness of the team and I've said it lots of times is the depth.

I feel like if we only had a couple of our backups in the game at any time, we could mask it because our starters look pretty good. But if we've gotta rely too much on our depth, we're effed.

And we didn't draft a single defensive player. So we don't have much to develop.

He slipped! Very Happy

I wish Verner would have been able to get a few reps with the 1st team defense but I hope he'll at least be ready by the regular season

We have committed very few penalties. Good sign after last year's laundry fest.
