If Hill gets cut I will be pissed.

He has barely been targeted and when he has been, he's delivered.

So Patterson didn't show up the game and his absence was unexcused. Just what we needed.

Because he doesn't get separation.

There have been multiple times over the course of his career when he hasn't been targeted with separation. And I hardly think he is as poor when he is targeted as some make him seem ... he isn't clutch and doesn't have the best hands in the world but he is passable and I'm sure even if cut he makes an active NFL roster ... Does he live up to draft hype ? No ... but he can be a decent contributing member for our team

St Louis just lost Sam Bradford ... maybe they take a chance picking up a QB like him via a trade (that said it wouldn't be for much, and they'd prob take a shot at Sanchez or someone with decent starting experience first)

Sanchez would probably be their first option. I'm curious whether St Louis would also inquire about Vick. Maybe a Vick-Hill swap? Do the Rams have any CB's they might consider moving?

I'd rather hold on to vick ... good mentor ... seems to have the right attitude and would be a perfect replacement in a pinch (if Geno were to get injured)

I'll be honest, I never wanted Vick on the Jets in the first place. Not because of the dog situation, he genuinely seems to have developed into a high character guy. I just see the Jets having a tough time through the first half of the season, mainly due to the failed attempts to address the CB position.

Geno and the offense has improved to the point that he's the obvious choice, while Vick is just a name guy the media will focus on should the Jets only have a handful of wins though the midpoint of the season. It might actually be better for them if they trade him and avoid the circus that would come on a bad year.

I would love to see that happen. I think me and QJ were the only two who really liked Simms out of the QB battle last year. The kidd deserves a shot.

If Geno is playing well I don't think the media will call for Vick. Now if Geno is average and we are losing by a little each game than I agree there will be a push for Vick but I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing. Geno needs to compete for his job, so far he looks like he is progressing well.

We finally got a viable backup QB for the first time in the Rex era, and you guys want to trade him?

Trading Vick would be a horrible idea. Geno is not out of the dog house yet.

Exactly. In case Geno gets hurt or wets the bed, we need a strong backup QB.

Poor wording.
