Hey guys, can you tell me what type of season you see Jason Witten putting up? Is he due for a breakout year with Miles Austin gone and the OL better?

Is Terrence Williams also worth picking up?

I don't know if I'd say "breakout" year as that implies he hasn't really done much in the past... Laughing

We seemed to utilize our TEs, specifically Witten down in the red zone (finally) more last season under Callahan as Witten posted his second-highest TD total (Cool and I hope that that continues under Linehan. I'd say somewhere around 700-1000 yards receiving with about 6-8 TDs is realistic.

Yes, Williams is definitely worth picking up.

Are you new to football?

Jason Witten holds the single season receptions record for a tight end. He has the single game receptions record for a tight end. And he's only a couple games away from becoming #2 on the all-time tight end receiving yards list. He's a future hall of famer. There is nothing he can do that would be considered a breakout.

Miles Austin had 9 catches total after week 2. His departure doesn't open up that many passes...

Terrance Williams should have a good season, but he'll disappoint fantasy owners some games. Between him, Dez, Witten, Beasely, Murray, and Escobar, there are a lot of mouths to feed. Williams will be the odd man out for some games.

I don't think Willams is the odd man out. It's the guys who you are listing that are the odd men out.

From what I have seen so far this off season and from the end of last year, Williams will be the 3rd most targeted man on the team. He will have more yards than Witten this year... Williams if healthy will should be a 900 to 1100 yard 7 to 11 TD reciever.
