Nice 4th down stop there to pick up the defense.

Horton scheme hopefully gonna kick into gear some time soon.

Atta boy Jake! Hunter had a good catch too.

Again with all the yellow flags:roll:

I hope Battle is ok.

Defense ends the night with a 4th down stop and a 3 and out. God I hope they can find a way to build on that.

Real disappointing performance from the offensive line tonight. No chance Jake lasts all year if he takes these kinds of hits.

Pretty much all of the hits allowed on Jake tonight have been due to an RB missing his block. Kerry Collins has been pointing it out every single time on Titans broadcast, Greene was really bad at picking up blitzers. Once McCluster came in it got better.

And this has been the case every week for our D. Starts out weak but gets stronger as the game goes on. Seems to take them a little while to understand the gameplan, which lines up with what outsiders have said about Horton's defenses in their first year.

I'd rather we make all our mistakes in the pre-season anyway.

Well Coons and Bonani both have 50 yarders, though Coons' was prettier Laughing

Glad that we're working our first string D guys a bit more. They need it.

Am I the only one at this point that wants to keep Coffman over Thompson at this point? Thompson is an athletic freak who can't catch the ball. Coffman seems to be reliable as it gets when it comes to catching it and seems to know how to get open.

I was thinking the same except Coffman over Stevens. Stevens adds nothing outside of blocking. Really wish we could combine all 3 Laughing

Thompson doesn't add blocking or catching. Stevens adds elite blocking and can catch the ball, though he doesn't have much athleticism.

While we're at it, we should cut Zach Brown too. Wink

What? Blocking is one of Thompson's strengths.

Not enough of a strength for him to get snaps over Stevens, even when he brings more athleticism. Pretty telling, IMO.

I like Whiz sending that message. Wouldn't be mad if he made them play the entire first half on Thursday.
