PREACH COLIN, PREACH!!!!!

I felt this way when Peyton Manning injured his neck and the colts went 2-14. To me MVP mean's that without a certain player a team isn't very good or even down right terrible. Without Carr the raiders could only produce 6 points, with him they did 5x as much. But this award will probably go to Ryan or Brady.

This. I don't think any QB has carried their team like Carr has for most of the year, save for Rodgers' late-season surge. We went from the cellar to a 12-win team almost overnight and it would not have happened without Carr. At a minimum, you could change all those 4th-quarter comebacks to losses if we didn't have him. I understand why Brady or Ryan deserve it, but Carr deserves to be high up in the candidates list.

With Ryan you could attribute it to Shanahan who has made McCown, RG3, and Schuab look good in his system. Plus even with all these numbers the Falcons are a 10 win team. It's almost even worse for Brady because without him his team is 3-1 stretch that over the season and they are a 12-4 team. Sure his numbers look great but when you're playing against the niners, jets, browns and dolphins your numbers look better.

Really if it's not Carr it has to be either Dak or Zeke because no one has helped their team more than those 2. Sure you could say the cowboys have the best oline in the league but they had that o line last year too when they went 4-12. Without Zeke they are a 7 or 8 win team at best.

Carr will never be any good or develop into anything until he goes to another team. The Raiders don't have the coaching staff or surrounding talent in place to help him or any QB be successful. He also looks uncomfortable from under center and needs to be in a spread/shotgun offense to maximize his talents. He also needs to work on beating the blitz. He has no idea what to do when he gets blitzed. The best thing that can happen to Carr is for the Raiders to use the #1 pick in 2015 on a QB and trade Carr away to another team with the talent in place and a system that will utilize his strengths. So No Carr will never be the Franchise QB for the Raiders.

Was this guy the QB coach of Denver, KC or SD

Carr had so many great performances last season, and he played at his best when it mattered most during the 4th Q. Really sucks he got hurt before he could shine in the playoffs. Can't wait to see what improvement he makes in his 4th season.

He's absolutely right. If somebody stops supporting the Raiders then they aren't raider fans.

Even looking at it from a non raider fan perspective, Carrs season last year was the funnest QB season I have ever watched. Beautiful throws combined with a stunning 4th QTR comeback literally every other game.

Pay the man!

Football's Future, where people get upset and negative over anything and everything.

Not hard to take your mind out of fandom perspective and look at everything neutral.

It's being said that Carr's deal will get done after the draft, not before. Really interested to see the numbers.

Actually, to clarify, I'm more interested in the cap hit over the life of the contract. What's interesting is we have plenty of cap room for Carr, Mack and jackson. But how Reggie creates them to hit the cap should be interesting.
