Ok I watched the game.... Confused

1 - Hoyer did not do that bad. Yes I know that INT was bad but other than that I think he looked better this game than he did in the other 2. Improvement due to first team reps? He also didn't have Gordon out there this game either. He has 2 weeks of first team practices left before the opener. I think he'll get to where he needs to be.

2 - The defense dropped the ball. Without Haden I might add. Also 2 scoring drives were give mes due to turnovers.

3 - Why the hell is Schwartz still on this team. The man is garbage.

that is all

Just some rookie mistakes, you have to give him some time to grow into an NFL QB...

Oh wait, he is starting so we avoid those rookie mistakes...n/m

We have two solid ILB for once.

Haden and Skrine didn't play. Gilbert will improve with more playing time.

Schwartz had one or two rough plays.

Manziel will be starting sooner than later.

We actually might have a friggin run game.

One guy I noticed looked pretty dominant.....true, against the 2's and 3's, but UDFA Calvin Barnett #91....we may have found another NT/DT like kid who can play....

Random news

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000383752/article/new-england-patriots-trade-logan-mankins-to-buccaneers

The partriots are good for drafting players...getting all the juice out of them an then getting and then getting the deposit back on the bottle LOL....

These types of moves I think were starting to make.....

Yes, I've seen him show up too. Kind of seeing from him what I saw from Bryant last pre-season. (not pressures, just play making)

see one thing that isnt being said is the Browns playing 3 games in 11 days. Thats a lot when a coaching staff is being asked to keep installing and perfecting their own system and then asking 75+ games to pick up on a game plan scheme.

I think the Browns will be fine in the regular season

Leave Bumo alone. That was a good observation. Laughing

That they wont look awful like they are now in the preseason. Roster will be cut down. All the important players will be getting all the reps and the offense will begin to gel

I tend to agree with you on this point... there will most definitely be growing pains (hopefully that don't involve being quicksnapped on Evil or Very Mad ) and you can't disregard the lack of talent at the WR position if Gordon is suspended, but the defense has too much talent to not be top 10 - top 5, and running game should be well improved.

Given the volatility of the fanbase and the fact that JFF is sitting on the bench though, I'm not sure cooler heads will prevail if the Browns don't come out 3-0.
