This guy is gonna be a serious player. He makes plays all the time. I loved how as Gruden was talking about him, the next play he gets the sack.

He also looks strong against the run, missed a tackle but it was impressive how he got into position in the first place.

For a 250lb guy to be able to rush from the DT position is impressive. Just based on what we've seen already... if there was a draft tomorrow, he definitely wouldn't go in the 7th.

Ahtyba Rubin is the only and most successful example of us doing that. Unless you're including a guy like Josh Cribbs that was a UDFA.

There is no way Armonty is only 250. Maybe 260, but he looks 270+

Rubin, Gipson, Skrine, Winn. Just to name a few of our late round or UDFA guys that have held on and played a pretty solid role to this defense

Have to believe picking him was Farmer's doing.

Net-net, if Mingo produces it makes that draft look pretty good.

will step in alongside NT Phil Taylor and fellow DE Ahtyba Rubin.

I thought we put Rubin back at tackle

Was thinking the same thing.

Armonty has earned the right to start.

True but out of all of the years back and all of the late round picks, we have historically blew them just as bad as the 1st and 2nds. FO on this team has been terrible.

that is all

haha, I couldn't pass up the opportunity. If he turns out to be half the player Bruce Smith was I'll be pumped. Gotta love Bryant though, he looks so effortless going around offensive tackles
